@shadowthingey Sometimes the RAM doesn't matter when it comes to gaming, I have a Vista with 1.5GB of RAM and it can run almost anything, although my graphics card is an Intel D CPU with 3.46GHz Single Core Processor, which is crap compared to a gaming computer.
The processor and the graphics card work together to pull frame by frame every frame of the game, which better graphics card and better processor = better framerate which = faster gameplay
RAM runs the programs & games

no problem, couldn't have done any better myself. you forgot to mention the Processor Affinity in task manager, which tells whether the program should run on any particular cores or all of them, seemed to help in some cases.
