Beck's original studio cover is on Wired. If you haven't heard it, get the album. Agreed, doing Mingus is cool, but it's a great, bluesy, lyrical tune - it really fits Beck's playing well, IMHO.
love it...(2:30ish) bad-ass riff, point at the crowd, then make that guitar growl like a pit bull crossed with a grizzled man clearing his throat, 'bout to tell you a little somethin' 'bout life...
Jeff Beck was the most intriguing, most daring guitar player of the so-called "Greats" to come from the UK(the others being, of course, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page). Yeah, Beck's always been my fave.
goodbye pork pie hat, then he goes into Brush with Blues. Wish he'd come out with a Blues cd. Heard he toured with Buddy Guy in Europe. Can't wait to see him by the ocean in Southern New Hampshire
COOOOOL You got that!!!! I was so mad my battery had already died! Was this show that the best or WHAT?!!! Maybe see you next time time (Gruss? Ciao / au revoir)

@DeanLisi I agree. Haven't heard many albums with 'just guitar' and no vocals from the others. Jeff is best.
