  • We do it because we know railfans get butthurt so easily and immediately take their grievances to youtube so we can lol about it some more

  • ...anti-foaming train crews can be handled with a quick, come-back, 'moon'...however, angry locomotives are quite another matter, indeed...as Leslie Nielsen discovered to his horrified dismay in his film, "Wrongfully Accused". That pissed engine jumped rail and chased him down but good! ...that wily engine had even quietly stalked up to Nielsens' hiding place behind some boulders, then pounced at Leslie from hiding...behind a tree. Obey the rules: "Don't feed the Diesel-Electrics!"

  • Had one BNSF Engineer flip me off in Saginaw TX a few years back, caught it in a picture. So I sent to BNSF HQ who in turn sent me a letter of apology.

  • Most train crews are alright but there are some that are pricks, same as anything else. They're so unhappy with their pathetic lives and their jobs that the only thing they can do is to try and make everyone else miserable too. It's especially distressing to them to see someone with a camera doing something that is enjoyable. They just can't understand how someone could be doing something they like.

  • @htc6600 If you haven't worked on the RR, how would you know what railroading is like?

  • I'm afraid there's nothing you can do back. Why? you ask... He's got a Train! -_-

  • this is common for bnsf iv delt with it alot best was one while in my town watching train go over a over pass i'm on street level was flipped off also and had a soda can pitched at me.

  • Engineer sits on th right dude

  • Sometimes they just don't wanna be bothered, you know? It gets annoying as heck, seeing people clamor every three seconds. =|

  • well actually there alot beter than those canadian owned outfits

  • Good day

Good company PR adds up eh...

Maybe he fell out of bed that morning.....

OR he read how P.M Trudeau did that to the reporters in the 1970's..(& the rest of the population).

Hats off to the friendly engineers & crews....hold nose to the "stinkers" who offer rude gestures..

  • Thats a bitch. BNSF crew gives you the bird. Thats some shit. Railfanning is fun. I know because I railfan and everyone is friendly.

  • I didn't see jack.....this post is misleading. I doubt if anyone did anything. Prove it in a court of law....and yes, I'm laughing my ass off....

  • @BNSFrailfan The railroad is greatful for vigilance from the public. We get alot of that on the line I work on. it does hellp out big time. Some crews are assholes, most are not. This has been common with some railroad worker's since way back when. I am still a railfan myself.

  • lool i dont understand how a video of a train going by can generate 12-13 pages of fight! 20 people fighting over the same thing...lololol too funny..

  • lol BNSF did the same thing to me two years ago

  • cool vid! Sorry bout the fight on Uploader comments!

  • WOW! NS dosnt give me the figure they just smile and wave!!!

  • looks like some RRer's are just big assholes! What gets me is why are they on here looking a train videos.

  • This looks to be a guy who does not like his job. A csx engineer has flipped me off before too...

  • Derailedtrain666 I feel bad that happened. Doesn't mean that this happens all the time though. Railfans going around chasing the trains or going down every grade crossing filming the train as it goes by kind of gets annoying to the crew. Doing that where I live would be pretty difficult and I mean really difficult.

  • if you do something nice for the engineer , he might let you toot the horn.

  • B-iggest

    N-ummber of

    S-hit

    F-ucks

  • I didnt see it :/

  • Perhaps he was flipping you off because you were capturing him for posterity on a crap camera... LOL!

  • OK, so you complain about being flipped off by a railroader- so what? Get over yourself already.

  • This could be my screensaver. loop it, please

  • HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA YOU GOT FLIPPED OFF BY A TRAIN LOL

  • Railroaders of today are such douchbags! I swear, all they do is complain about the comfort of a locomotive (which is why they like GE junk), they call railfans "foamers" or "fuckin rail nuts", and are just complete assholes. It's these RAILFAG employees who make me NOT want to work for the railroad anymore!!!!

  • @mt90945557 The reason so many railroaders do not like railfans can be found right here on YouTube. Go look at the comments from people like bnsfmanifests and others. They trash the very industry the proclaim to love, trespass in the name of their hobby, and behave like children.

95% of railfans are great. But that last 5% can ruin it for everyone.

  • @mt90945557 ive just been hired on to union pacific and they are the same way ive never seen people complain so much about such a well paying stable job and im a railfan i even have a receiver hitch for my truck that looks like a drawbar and they keep giving me a hard time about it im just here to do a job i love and live my life anything these guys complain about goes thru one ear and out the other it pisses me off so bad that some people have lost there jobs and they complain they have one

  • @TheUnionpacific4008 heres a helpful tip for you railroading is not a career its a lifestyle

  • @redrock717 Then why complain about it.

  • @TheUnionpacific4008 my dads been an engineer 4 35 years the complain is really sayin how much they love the job

  • which company should i work for un or bnsf.I didnt see what happened .Is BNSF really that bad

  • I like to touch my johnson lever!

  • I'd call BNSF services for that. What are they gunna do to me ya know? KEEP IT CLEAN BNSF!!! (not just them, all railroads)

  • thats because bnsf employess are assholes compared to union pacific

  • @rickmatuska Ohhh! Yah man!

  • @metroliner89 i had some bad experiences with some of thier employees, so maybe they need to hire out ones that treat railfans with respect. thats all we ask for.

  • @kissfan2012 Yeah

  • @kissfan2012 yeah, I waved at a bnsf employee and he just looked at me and gave me double birds and yelled "F**K You, Put that shit up"

  • @rickmatuska agreed

  • I do not understand the attitude of railroad workers. I had a NS crew give me an obscene gesture as I was standing at a crissing with my 8 and 9 year old grandsons just watching the trains go by near our home about a year ago. How do you explain that behavior to kids...and like dcjack I am a firefighter of 32 years now (career) and would never dream of such a poor display of adulthood with kids around. Why so down on someone who admires your job that you do and wants to get pictures of it?

  • Interesting approach from railroad workers to folks taking pictures. I work for the fire dept, 22 years now, and hundreds of people watch me do my job. I could care less if people watch an emergency or not, but I surely show them courtesy. Wouldn't even consider the attitude of KCS guy @s00tchoo.

  • I work for a major railroad (which I won't name.) You'd be surprised at how many of the people who take these trains over the road are arrogant jerks. Of course there are plenty of really nice people, but you must have encountered one of the bad apples.

  • @jradamo but yet you still watch train videos

  • Heres an awesome video of a guy doing something. Well you cant see it but I swear it was awesomes. When I film something and it turns out like this I delete it. Its not hard to do. You should learn.

  • People have been recording trains for over 60 fucking years!!!! If it wasn't for them, we would have nothing to document the history of railroading or have all if that amazing footage of old steamers and bull dog nose diesels. Sooner than later all of these typical Ac4400's will be history and well be thankful we have so much footage 100 years from now.

  • gmcxm211 hit it on the head. Don't let an a__h__e ruin your day. 99 percent of the crews here on the Clinchfield will wave back, especially if you're blond and pretty! lol! But really now, you gotta wave first; if the crews don't see something in your hand to get thrown at them, then they'll wave back. Come video me anyday on the CC&O.....30 year CRR engineer.

  • Waaaa.....the crew ruined my crappy video

  • When i worked for NS I thought it was cool when i found people filming me. Alot of times id wave to them especially if they had kids. I even threw some water to guys on real hot days.... If you dont like cameras on you when your working you must be doing something wrong that you want to hide. Grow up anyone that works on the railroad is old enough to not act like a kid or a baby!

  • The hogger flipped you off? you're on the wrong side for it to be an engineer. Let us know where you work so we can video you. Foamers wonder why we don't like you video taping us, it's a distraction when you're working and we allready have enough to worry about.

  • In the old days, it was the responsibility of the engineers and other train crew to portray pride and respect for the railroad they worked for and those around them. If they where caught down talking the railroad, or treating some one badly, they where disciplined. I guess pride and respect is a thing of the past... Its too bad.

  • @Jeffro403

No those rules are still in the rule book! I'm a hoghead for BNSF out of Galveston, TX, i can't tell you how many cameras i have seen set up around Tower 17 in Rosenburg, TX were the BNSF Galveston sub and UP Glidden sub cross. There was a lot of people with cameras there when tower 17 was still sitting there and manned. I would have wrote down the engine number and reported the guy to a trainmaster. See if sitting at home for 30 days would change his work habbits.

  • I've seen an engineer get his ass kicked for being a dick, taking hour and a half to change fucking tracks. It was AWESOME

  • lol it's cuz your a foamer.

  • Don't let a couple of Ass holes ruin it for you. 99.9% of trainmen really enjoy that you guys take an interest in America's railroads. I work out of Gillette and enjoy seeing people video taping us.

But I have to enforce that do it from more then a stones throw away from the train. This is for you safety and ours.

We can't see what you are carrying, don't know if it's a rock you're going to throw at us or if it's a camera.

And yes people do throw shit at trains.

  • @Derailedtrain666 as long as railfan's keep a safe distance, then there is no reason to get shitty with them. Railfanning is a great hobby and I have met alot of great railfan's in my travel's. We try to stop and talk as often as we can with them. They can be a great asset to railroad's. There vigilance can pay off big time in seeing stuff that we might not see& reporting it to us so we can go and check it out. We can't be everywhere at once, and a extra set of eye's is always helpful.

  • @Derailedtrain666 you foaming railfaggot. I bet soon as the engines go past you start jerking off and screaming BNSF.... I SAW A COUPLER!... OMG HERE COMES MY LOAD IF I GET CLOSE ENOUGH I CAN SQUIRT IT RIGHT ON THAT TRAIN!!.... I"M SURE GLAD I PICK SECLUDED SPOTS TO MASTURBATE IN!

  • @Runkleforskin Get a fuckin life you dumbass perverted fuck. I work for the railway and we appreciate railfans because they see things that we often can't. So before you call them railfaggots, think that they might just save your life. Maybe one day a railfan wont be there when a train comes through your neigborhood with a hotbox and the axle breaks and the train derails and 120,000 gallons of crude oil ignite and blow you to hell where you belong, asswipe.

  • @s00tchoo I do respect you as a conductor, but I don't know why it bothers railroaders that railfans are videotaping them. It's kinda the same thing as people that like cars or ships and stuff. With me I only go to see trains because conrail painted locomotives won't be around much longer, but it's just a hobby. Now, I do not like railfans or "foamers" that just walk all over the place and tresspass and get in the railroads way to hinder operations and start lawsuits.

  • @s00tchoo Try pulling that shit here in Illinois Asshole! I've had to work with pukes like you!! You make live for work-a-day railroaders hell too! Your probably one of those idiots who spend more time on their cell phone calling in bullshit than giving me accurate car counts so I get slammed back in forth all day. How DARE you you fucking little jerk off! If it weren't for the "foamers" around these parts, me and my guys would have it ALOT harder than we do! Look in the mirror u angry littleman

  • @milw189 Thank you sir for finally saying something with sense. That moron is not and will never be a real railroader...and the sad part is he will never understand why.

  • Well said sir. We do it because we admire you guys and if we see something wrong with the train we help you guys and report it. For instance the BNSF M-GalChi was going through Kernan or Ransom a few months back and the last car had sparks or something comming out from under it and Railsandroads called and let the BNSF police know so like you said if we weren't out there you guys could have it harder than you do. So we appreciate some of you guys liking us :)

  • @s00tchoo well apparently someone doesn't like their job!!! Just like some others said on here why don't u do something productive, and call in important shit, than small pity, pussy shit. That is just an indication you are bored and not satisfied with your job, so why don't you and all the other asshole crews just do us all a favor and RESIGN, or better yet do something stupid to get your ass terminated from service!!!

  • @s00tchoo

I work for UP and coulden't agree more. Some foamer followed me for 150 miles and stopped at every crossing and waved like he was having the time of his life. LOSERS!!!!!

  • Sir do you not understand we don't railfan because we don't have anything better to do we do it because we admire you crews and want to be just like you guys. For instance when I get older I plan on being a conductor or engineer who is nice to railfans on the BNSF railroad. I know some of the crews around here and they are very nice. Some of them I almost consider idols or mentors because they lead the right kind of life and the kind I'd like to have as an adult. So I disagree, we are NOT losers

  • @s00tchoo Wow your nice. So what, its a fucking hobby that doesnt mean you need to be an ass hole to the rest of us. I hope i never see you when I am railfanning. WHy are you even watching train videos. And especially, reporting us? I live in the chicago area and I get cops all the fucking time, you really think I want engineers calling me in? Wow man, very nice.

  • @s00tchoo lol best post ever. I always wondered what they thought of foamers and I'm sure they do feel that way. I never cared for the horns, it's just the train in general. But I bet if I was on that train I'd feel the same way as you lol.

  • @s00tchoo if you are a conductor then whey did you misspell train and you should know what it called its called 6658 you suck at you job

  • @s00tchoo Your not a damn conductor. A conductor could at least spell Train right

  • @s00tchoo Hey, when I film trains, I FLIP THEM OFF FIRST! :D

No, I don't really...but reporting them if they aren't even trespassing will just get you in trouble...

Oh wait; maybe not. I forgot, you guys are unionized so you don't get in trouble for nearly as much as you should. That's reason enough to flip them off right there...what do you think?

  • Oh this is in Colorado? That explains it. Never been to a state with as many up-tight people as Colorado. It's full of angry hippies for some reason.

  • @s00tchoo- Wow, you sound like a big asshole. What are your interests, drinking beer and screwing your sister?

  • Comment removed

  • @s00tchoo dude chill. there are train spotters everywher. People that love trains and want to get them on video. Just because u dont care doesnt mean the world doesnt

  • @s00tchoo So why are you watching utube videos? Seems like a guy that doesn't give a f**k would have better things to do.

  • @s00tchoo If you understood rail fans, you would most certainly understand the hobbie right. CN is awesome with railfans

  • @s00tchoo

Quit your job, and get your stupid ass a dictionary. You'll be happier AND smarter.

  • @s00tchoo Really? I am a conductor trainee and on the first run, we had a smoker on axle 62. Guess who saw it and called it in. A local railfan that was taking picture of video footage of our train. DS called us and states that per a railfans sightings, we have a smoker somewhere in between axles 55 and 70. After we took the nearest siding, axle 62 was the hot axle with a fracture. That "foamer" saved lives. Our train wouldve derailed if it went un-noticed. Plus we had hazardous chems on board.

  • @s00tchoo It is called Public Relations for a company as your actions can have a negative reaction on potential customers. Say a larger shipper was a railfan, you flip him off next day said shipper calls your company says I am now shipping with this railroad or trucking company. Sure you employer would love the loss of a large contract which pays the bottom line and your paycheck. Also such actions can and most likely would get you fired especially in this example

  • HA HA

  • i can't see it... but i really want to! lol. that had to be funny man.

  • LOL! I saw it, and its funny!

  • My dad runs bnsf trains through there, i bet he knows the guys lol, or it may have been him.

  • This is one of my favorite trains to see go thru my area. 3 miler coal car Freight!

  • Theres's a smart crew right there

  • great video 2 units chasing.

  • i had a amish flip me off b4

  • @skateboy159 Amish? OMG! Did he/she say "Phuque thee"? LMAO Wonder if he looked like Weird Al doing that.

  • @dad27cats he kind of did look like weird al me and my friend was riding bikes we passed him on the road we waved and seen the middle bird lol

  • I'd have given it right back to him. Even the friendly-as-rattlesnakes NS crews aren't that bad.

    Unsociable bastard.

  • @mlavender480 NS Crews are epic. CSX Crew are sorta mean but some are nice

  • Hey ignore these haters/trolls. Great video and 5 stars.

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh God bless your bad eyesight WindyMac. Are your videos as goo as this jokers?

  • @HarryRunyon

I'm not WindyMac you harry old hag.

2nd yes I have bad eyes. I wear glasses. How nice of you to point that out?

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh MackyWind, do you need a hug?

  • @HarryRunyon

Wow that's funny. MackyWind. That's funny. haha... no.....

    Your mom needs a hug.

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh Thats original IckyWind. Here's a dollar...go buy yourself a clue.

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh they must be good IntoshDows...you keep coming back for more.

  • @HarruRunyon

I'm not going to give up until your stupid nonsense comebacks drive me mad.

IntoshDows? Really? That's like me calling you something stupid like rrynyon!

  • @HarryRunyon Glutton for punishment eh? Or perhaps true lack of wit. Cannot decide.

  • @HarryRunyon I would keep my distance if I were you Harry, never know what he's got.

  • Wow. Such a witty response. Your talents are wasted on making mere train videos.

  • This video is most definately "mere".

  • What the hell do you want, its Youtube, free posting. At this time, i can honestly say i wasn't very good at filming or editing. So, why don't you buy something if you want to critique me like that.

  • Because we wanted to see the results of what happens when you drink and film.

  • @HarryRunyon The point he was making, regardless if it was clearly visible or not, is WHY are railroad people such assholes and snobs? I've been noticing that myself, just from Youtube. Are YOU a railroad person, or just an asshole?

  • Yeessh, and people say railroaders are arrogant.

  • @Derailedtrain666 My my are we testy. Welcome to reality phoamer. Not everyone will sit and watch a video of a hundred or so coal hoppers passing by, one just like the rest. Nor will most make such a thing. You and your pal who lives on Social Security need to get a look at the rest of the world is it really is, not though your rose colored glasses.

  • otef434 > ".. Welcome to reality phoamer .."

What the heck is a "phoamer" and what makes you somehow different? Is "phoamer" the same as the "foamer" seen in comments under other videos?

  • @stewartx5 See my comment 17 below. It describes the difference. I did forget to add one point, the serious follower, understands reality of the industry. The phoamer subscribes to rumor, speculation, and canard.

e.g. "I heard that Toad Cluck of TO is 'the' expert on railroading."

  • @otef434 Mmmm.....I love a finely roasted canard. The spleen is the best part!

  • @HarryRunyon Glazed with honey no less.

  • @gp80mac shut the fuck up and u go and stop sucking on your moms titis.

  • @bnsf7512

Such a master of creative writing and literature! Why are you wasting your time on youtube? There are great novels in your head that must me written down! Don't deprive humanity of your brilliance!

  • @cnnw3929 Arrogant eh? What, you work at Burger King or Wal Mart?

I don't waste my time with Phoamers track side, I have a job to do. But I can understand my cohorts flipping you off as well.

    Get a life.

  • I'm not a "phoamer", so you'll never see me trackside. And I don't work at Burger King or Wal Mart. Instead, I live on your paycheck.

  • You do not live on my paycheck. We are not connected to, nor pay into Social Security. Sorry old sock.

You might consider something like selling pencils on the corner to suppliment your finances.

There are those, who are knowledgeable, and serious fans. They fully understand the logistics, finances, and technical aspects of Railroads. Then there is the "droolers" category, who get inappropriately excited over the paint on a locomotive. You can spot them a mile away.

  • I don't have to sell pencils. I have other means to supplement my income. Like I said, you'll never see me track side. I don't care about your company. Ether it does great, or it folds. I'm fine either way. Metal is metal, regardless of how it's painted when it goes from the back of my truck to the shredder.

  • He sells replica Milwaukee Road pencils on the street corner...wearing a jacket with a gazillion railroad pins on it.

  • You live off of Welfare? You Slug! Get a job...and a life.

  • You never know Harry, he might be part of the Cluny and Lutefisk crowd.

  • Comment removed

  • Ah, yes. Now we're talkin', Harry. Now go ahead and call the IRS. Ah ha ha ha ha ha

  • your a FRN fucken railroad nut LOL

  • I dont get why people come on here and talk shit on railfans. Really no one is doing anything wrong its not illegal so what if they are recording or taking pictures. but i can see the other side to yeah it may be annoying at time for crews but for those of us who do go out and railfan it isnt a waste of time just because you dont see the point. just because we cant see your passion for collecting barbies doesnt mean we cant go do ours

  • Right on!

  • Stop being an asshole to railfans! Just because you hate trains doesn't mean that you have to talk shit on people who like 'em.

    Who's with me?

    BTW, great video

  • What did they do i didnt see it?

  • I would have contacted the trainmaster, and reported the crew for that

  • I Did, they sent me a free hat!

  • Hey fucker, you like cars? Pimpin' 'em out n all d@t shytz??? GET A LIFE!! Fucking imbecile. -_- FAIL.

  • You like boys...he he

  • You're so sad.

  • Why do you assume I am 5. Are you looking for a hook up you sick bastard. Have you registered today?

  • Fucking fail, worthless. Trust me, you're not worth anyone's time. Just shoot yourself, and I assume you're 5 because you waste time hating on people who are far greater than you, so therefore, since that is a trait of small children (and many brain dead worthless adults, unfortunately), why not, you could be 2 for all I know.

  • I hope you didn't stay up to late trying to write something back. Just a heads up..."to catch a predator" is on later. Let me know which guy you are.

  • You're such a fucking imbecile. Good luck rotting on a city street. :D

  • Comment removed

  • my dad works for the railroad and he makes $40 per hour + $80 per hour overtime!!

  • That's so incredible!!

  • i would have done the same thing back.

  • a lot of newwer crew members think its funny to screw around and mess with people, no offense to those newwer crew members who do just fine.

  • oh yes the old one finger wave

  • i cant see it

  • Comment removed

  • What exactly did they do that made you mad!?

  • The camera guy didn't flip the train off, the train engineer flipped him off! I thought I could see it for a spit second on the left side of the train(our right), but when I paused the video, it was just the mirror, I think.

  • But what did the crew do to him to flip him off, did they give him the finger?

  • Yes, the crew of the train game him the finger or "flipped him off". The act of "flipping someone off" is giving them the middle finger, aka "flipping the bird" "flipping you off", "giving the finger", they're all the same thing. To be flipped off is not "getting angry" at something, it's when someone flips you the finger. Does that make any sense? I hope that helps.
