I think you will need to fight to get the siege wepons then trying to break the gate to the fort. Then there will be take the flag and the siege wepons will be useless until the gate get repaired (if it can be repaired)

Half of this map is real. My friend is on WOTLK beta and you can drive tank and sit in cannons and even cast ontop of these machines. Blizz is thinking about making this a 15v15 but its beta so nothing is set in stone yet.

actually, this is an old bg tossed around in wow beta, not azshara crater, but i do remeber seeing a few concept ideas for pvp combat and they showed one or two maps of bgs that never got in, this was one of them, something like "Escape the Maelstrom" or along those lines, basically ab or even eots, the first ones to grab the amount of resources needed to escape and get all players on the ship (alive or dead) wins, thats why theres a open area in front of the ships

Attackers start out in the boats and try to get as far as possible up to the top of the temple/fort. Defenders try to hold them off. Simple as that.

This battleground will be a attack/defend BG, one team will attack the fortress by boat and siege weapons and flying machines etc. The other team will defend and try to stop the team from getting the fortress. After like 10-20 minutes the teams will switch and they will get turns to attack and defend.

I believe that Bliz said they would add a BG, this, which would be sort of D-Dayish with 1 side being the attacker and the other side defender.

To me, it seems that one group will start at the boats and have to fight their way up to the top of the temple/shrine area while the defenders defend it.
