That sounds like my old car's viscous coupling bearing. It doesn't sound too bad. The LED is really cool though.

Wow, that thing sounds LOUD! is it annoying loud or it just the mic? I'm assuming it's the turbine (no batteries) making the noise?

Thats pretty cool. seems useful if u have trouble judging water temperature.
i like that it uses no batteries. that would be a hassle to have to take out and replace a couple AAAs
