  • Can anyone give me the Welsh lyrics to this song? I know a little Welsh, but not enough to be able to understand what he's saying all the time, and I can't seem to find the Welsh lyrics anywhere online. Any Welsh speakers out there willing to help me out? Diolch yn fawr!

  • A.M.A.Z.I.N.G

Can you upload the lyrics please

I want to teach my girls to sing this beautiful song with different language

and this one is way beyond .....

  • @gunnarpattian Ive sent you a private message, Ive only got the English lyrics to this and it was to long to post here..

    Bye for now.

    Todd.

  • it is better to sing with English lyrics.

  • If you have a look at my other channel (AledSoP) I uploaded Aled singing an English version of this last night.. I do think the Welsh language, which is sung here, adds something to the Carol though.

  • Love this piece and I've never heard before for solo voice, I'am going to teach this to my choir for this Christmas. This is singer is super, beautiful voice.

  • Hudolus!

  • Diolch yn fawr Aled

  • sweet! never heard this in Welsh before. thanks for posting :)

  • do you have the version where he sings in english? i cant find it!

  • Sorry, but I dont appear to have a video of Aled singing this in English, if I do find one I will post it here.

    Todd.

  • TSRule has now made a compilation video of Aled singing Candelight Carol in English

  • I generally like to hear this song with a full choir because I like all the harmonies, but his voice is SO beautiful it didn't even matter. I was almost in a trance the whole time he was singing :)

  • Wonderful. Ardderchog. Thank you, diolch yn fawr iawn.

  • Again, we see a great young singer develop into a mature performer, with such beauty in the singing.

  • is this in welsh or latin?

  • Hi, its sung in Welsh which is Aled's native language..

    todd.

  • This is very very nicely done. Not all solo attempts of this song are good, especially without all the harmony which really adds so much. But Aled does a super terrific job!

  • yeah the harmony adds a really nice effect to it. im singin at a carol service tommorow nite n this is one of the pieces we are doing and it is beautiful with the harmonies.

  • Aled really captures the meaning of the song.. I hope there will be more posts of this singer!

  • Wow...this song sounds even better in Welsh than it does in English. Beautiful!!!

  • beautiful... inb what language is this ???

  • It is in Welsh, Aled's native language.

  • I love Aled! This is one of my favourite Christmas carols.

  • What a beautiful voice! I love this piece, and it's the first time I've heard it sung as a solo. LOVE how he takes the higher octave on the closing phrase. BRAVO!!

  • Mae Aled Jones yn gwneud i mi grynnu bob tro rwy'n ei weld neu ei glywed. Nid oherwydd ei lais canu, ond oherwydd ei fod yn fy atgoffa i o fy mrawd. Ych a fi!

  • I love this song so much :) I think it's my favorite Christmas song. This is the best performance of it I've ever heard.
