  • I was born exactly seven days before Neil Armstrong made his first bootprint in the lunar regolith on July 20th, 1969. The greatest achievement of mankind in the history of its history. In less than a decade after JFK delivered his speech on (my grandmothers 36th birthday) September 12 1962 at Rice University on establishing a manned lunar landing as a national goal for America, but more importantly as a collaborative endeavor and objective for 400,000 people's dreams and lives making it happen

  • Hard to believe that the shuttle era is now over. I remember watching the first one go up 30 years ago. Thanks for posting all the videos.

  • Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin rejoined Michael Collins for the return trip back to the Earth 42 years ago today - and Atlantis brought to an end 30 years of a wonderful concept - the Space Shuttle.

However, since Apollo 17 there have been no manned deep space missions to the Moon.

It is to be hoped that this is the dawn of a new epoch with the return of Moon missions leading to a Mars mission. I'm sure that Russia and China have this goal in mind - lets hope the United States will join them!

  • This will be my last video for a while..

At least untill NASA gets it's act together.
