The only show I watch every sunday is In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley. He's the only one who preaches the true word of God unlike those false prophets(Prosperity Preachers)
also check out Zac Poonen and Mother Deola Wells Johnson - both are extremely good preachers. Mother Deola preaches with power! Charles Stanley is good, although his sermons seem more academic than from the heart. i still like them though.

There are other reasons why I quit listening to the Bible Answer Man, but this video was a clear reminder that H2 would constantly remind listeners to give to CRI. (He's also been caught living a lavish lifestyle, and he also sued a fellow Christian apologist as well.)

Yes! I agree Jesus wants us to be rich in faith, rich in God and not rich in material wealth of this world. The true riches of God in the new testiment are not carnal nor material but spiritual which is greater than any material riches of this world. I have no problem with prosperity.The apostle Paul intimates that he learnt to live either poor or rich. My problem is that if we are going to keep riches to ourselves, it is not the gospel.. Jesus was rich.. but He gave. He gave all He had, even His own life unto death.

Pat Robertson once put up a "challenge" for $30,000 in 3 minutes. He got 10 in about 10 seconds, another 2/20 seconds later, and that was it! He was devastated! What do you think he would have got if he only asked for $10,000? They are forced to ask for as much as they can to keep together. That's pretty much the rule!

when i say "give" i didn't mean to hypocrite preachers. preachers should stop taking but give to the sick and poor.
the way you assure salvation is show intense compassion (bearing fruits) in your heart to alleviate suffering afflicted among us. be moved to action. not indifference to suffering.
Prosperity preachers are for GREED, not Christ the Compassionate.

Even some of the not-so flamboyant multimedia "ministers" plead for money constantly. Hank Hanegraaff comes to mind. There are other reasons why I quit listening to the Bible Answer Man, but this video was a clear reminder that H2 would constantly remind listeners to give to CRI. (He's also been caught living a lavish lifestyle, and he also sued a fellow Christian apologist as well.)

I agree that Christ has called us to remain undefiled by the love of money, which is "the root of all evil".

I serve God! Thank you Jesus!God is number 1! I feel the same about evangelist. If people want to dontate (cheerfully give) that's different but having telethons or asking to give or making people donate in the name of God isn't cool. One can be rich and still have God 1st in their lives as long as one doesn't "serve" money. Money is a tool, a nessesity to survive. Having or even wanting more then what you need IS OK too as long as you share but it must NOT be worshiped or distorted or be greedy

I think it's funny how those preachers can sell all those books and tapes and still ask for more money. If they are using it for the "kingdom", you would think that the book and tape sales would be enough.

I believe one of the roots that push that is the teaching of sawing and reaping. But since the temple is destroyed we do not need a temple priest or pastor system anymore. Therefore tithing does not make sense and is not in the new testament.

Young lady, you should be teaching the Word if you aren't already. You are absolutely correct. Hebrews 13:5 tells us to be content with such things as we have. The prosperity doctrine produces a state of discontent in the hearers.
True prosperity is a sense of total well being in Him regardless of what the circumstances are at any given time in my life. That is something the world doesn't have and can't have outside of Him.
Keep up the teaching. You are gifted from the Lord.

Yes! I agree Jesus wants us to be rich in faith, rich in God and not rich in material wealth of this world. The true riches of God in the new testiment are not carnal nor material but spiritual which is greater than any material riches of this world. Jesus plainly stated that it would be harder to inter heaven if you were rich because of the distraction it created between you and truting in him. The prosperity Gospel is anti Christ teachings. So where is the anti-Christ spitit working today?

I have no problem with prosperity.The apostle Paul intimates that he learnt to live either poor or rich. My problem is that if we are going to keep riches to ourselves, it is not the gospel.. Jesus was rich.. but He gave. He gave all He had, even His own life unto death.

They don't, and they are always speaking on gaining more money and finances then sharing the gospel of the cross which is very important, and not just for one time but to constantly being focused on Christ crucified and raising from the dead is what we all need to hear more often then how to prosper in our finances. Pat Robertson once put up a "challenge" for $30,000 in 3 minutes. He got 10 in about 10 seconds, another 2/20 seconds later, and that was it! He was devastated! What do you think he would have got if he only asked for $10,000? They are forced to ask for as much as they can to keep together. That's pretty much the rule!

Jesus saved me unconditionally free no money but he offered his blood on the cross that what he paid for us, now our salvation cost nothing it is free some paid before. I love Jesus my savior. Money isn't evil, but twisting God's Word is. Many Christians are being led off that narrow road because of money/greed(1 Timothy 6:5-11). Jesus said it's easier for a camel to go through an eye of an needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.For were your treasure is, so will your heart be. Not all rich people are going to hell, but those who make money/etc... their god and/or add or take away from God's Word, are in danger of going there, God said so.

Here in Australia we have Pastor Brian Houston of Hillsong Incorporated preaching Copeland's and Hagins false doctrine of prosperity.
Brian even brought out a book called "You need more money."
So I advise you don't buy any Hillsong praise and worship music cds and DVDs.
Don't support them financial at all.

Wow, great video. Firstly you are really pretty and it's awesome to see a girl who loves God. I'm also big into Way of The Master. Alot of truth in your words. God wants us to be rich.. in righteousness. Nothing wrong with being rich, but if that's your "goal" then you have jumped the fence of christian into a world of occultism. If we get alot of money we should spend it on loving other people not whoring it on ourselves for personal gain. Great video! :)

Prosperity Gospel also supports itself on a variant of the Manichaean heresy. Poverty and sickness are claimed to be products of the work of Satan. This is metaphysical dualism and totally ignores that the consequences of sin were set forth by God's mandate, not Satan's operation (Gen. 3:17).

In a few words sister, you are on the money, I mean on poit with your message. I have been studying 1 Timothy chapter 6 and Matthew 6 which deals with the whole money issue. Maybe if these prosperity teachers truly loved God's word and read these chapters they wouldn't do what they do. Keep up the good work.
