SeekerNLife , I agree. It's getting better today. He says the threat from Iran is small. A nuke from Iran or an Iranian backed terrorist is just as appalling as one from the old USSR. Also, during the cold war we had been able to use covert operations and spies. Clinton took all of this from us. We can only fight in the open now so the potential fro WWIII is upon us when Iran goes nuclear. Barrack Obama is not nuanced or well educated in this arena, and it's beginning to show.

Obama has already stated and for quite some time had it posted on his website that he would speak directly to the Irainian President & Government and Hamas without preconditions.

TheKillerZombie, I agree, but oddly enough, just like the lapel pin he has reversed himslef and thrown up a huge smoke screen (attacking Bush) to cover the reversal. He can not ever say that he did not say he would do so without preconditions. Sounds like he is saying, "I Obama will take a step backwards in negotiating with Iran"! Does he not understand that negotiations with Iran do go on within certain parameters and there is already a strategy in place which outdates the Bush Administration.

These changes in the Middle east and others like them have brought the balance of power slowly away from Iran, the biggest purveyor of terror in the world.
