  • this is one of the most useful videos I have seen for what Im trying to do with Ableton.

  • when you start talking right after the finished result at 12:40 gives me the chills, your voice fits in incredibly well!

  • Great stuff! :D

  • With a soothing voice like yours, you should do guided meditations as well. You could call he channel "Meditationdaily". Meditations for unlocking your inner electronic musician.

  • Thanks so much for these videos. This is the second time viewing this specific video and I grasped a lot more this time through for some reason. You explain things well.

  • nothing records! i am such an ableton noob but i followed your instructions exactly but when i click record simply nothing records... please help.

  • @pizzaisfuntoeat Do you have your audio inputs setup correctly in Prefs?

  • @abletondaily what is the correct way?

  • hi man.. thanks for this tutorial.. is great..

  • perfect tutorials !

  • You explain so well . . . ! It'd be great if you could make a video on granular synthesis involving phase utility based sounds along with some automation based stuff . . . I hope that made some sense . . :D

    Great tutorial . . :)

  • Damn I never knew you had the option to fade! Great stuff Mark.

  • awsome tutorial love this very much, the sound is amazing!

  • Thank you for making my night peaceful. I'm using this for sure to make sleeping music tonight.

  • What are the settings you have on EQ Eight? I can only see the first setting in the video.

  • Very good !!! Thanks a lot !

  • nice great job!

  • hi for some reason I can't arm the operator and the audio at the same time. any ideas as to why??

  • @nathansm11 Yes, I forgot to mention I have some custom preferences in Live. Go to Live > Preferences. Click on the Record/Warp section. Make sure Arm is turned OFF for Exclusive. This will allow you to record, play and Arm many tracks at once. Or hold down the Command Key (Ctrl on Windows), this will allow you to Arm more then one track at the same time -Mark

  • this is beautiful. great job.

  • LOVE THIS!!! Awesome job

  • without any doubt you are one of the best teacher on youtube, thanks for what you are doing

  • @orfeuz Wow thanks!

  • great stuff...i've been viewing your tutorials for the past couple of weeks, and they are succinct and quite intuitive...would it be possible for you to cover some tried and true techniques regarding eq'ing as well as song structure within the framework of ableton?

  • @konnichiwabitchez Absolutely, I'm actually posting an EQ video tomorrow about fighting frequencies. I will take your suggestion on the Song structure!
