@teribunker: That's too funny. None of these flunky wannabe's will ever have the balls to stand up with their real names--Dr. Assblow (sp?), notwithstanding.
NPs argue that their biggest asset is that they spend TIME with the patient. Personally, I just want an expert to treat me, not a nurse. I don't care if the doctor is rushed, hell, so am I. Just because a NP may spend time with you doesn't mean that they will get things right. If you need someone to talk to, go see a shrink. I love that my doctor is fast and efficient. NPs are dangerous in my opinion. Did you know they can even get their NP ONLINE!?!? WTF is that about?!!? Sigh.
People with poor self esteem, like the author of this video, have to use such tactics. Agreed, only Robots as seen on this video will put up such nonsense. My commiserations, for those who have to put up with trash, in the name of Freedom of Speech.
@DLuckyFNP You my dear, might want to go to first grade, and learn correct English, before you think of treating patients. As for me ever visiting a psychoNP, I can only say I am ROTFLMAO
take these pills and dont worry--the real enemy is the insurance company--we need to not fight between ourselves. we need to fight the insurance companies. they are killing us
What are you smoking? You just posted an incendiary, scurrilous video, and now you want "us" to fight the insurance companies, to help you continue your dumb charade?
As a patient, facts are good, but too many MDs are focused on facts alone making me as a patient feel like a lab specimen rather than a human being. I like my NP because she takes the time to know me and has been more successful with diagnosing problems that 9-10 MDs completely missed. She also takes the time to inform me of what my treatment options are and respects that my choices involve more than simple scientific facts. Your tone is typical of MD arrogance that I don't like.
@stuckey08 I am not laughing. I have visited too many arrogant MDs who have 6 minutes for me so they throw me a prescription w/o telling me what it is or why I am supposed to take it. I have gotten wrong diagnoses b/c they don't want to take the time to listen to all of my symptoms . They typically tell me to pick one symptom so they can give me a drug to treat the symptom. My NP actually took the time to realize that the symptoms were all related and could be treated successfully w/o drugs.
Medicine works when those involved fulfill their niche and work hard at it. I'm sure your NP is a great practitioner, but the standards of the degree are lacking immensely for what they want to do with it. Do your own research if you don't believe me and you'll find more than half of the credits needed to obtain a DNP have little to no science involved. Facts are facts and you can't argue with what the degree entails.
@all of you-- who is actually a physician--please stand up and identify yourself instead of hiding behind false you tube names.

Extraordinary how there is stark lie in every sentence.

@dwi2u Sounds like you have some deep seeded issues. Perhaps a visit with your local psych NP might be in order.

if the person who made this video really wanted people to laugh, they would have posted the NP curriculum.
