  • He's a target now. Targets are cool

  • 1:26 Divider from Dead-Space, anyone???

  • @EarthDefenceInferno necromorph cybermen ftw?

  • meanwhile at docter who

  • assimilation is borg, that stupid cyberman

  • @tzbugattiveyron the Borg were inspired by the Cybermen in the first place, so it's allowed to quote them

  • Now Thats What I Call Zombie Attack!

  • anyone else think an episode of Zombie cyberman would just be awesome/scary?

  • when i 1st watch this i was thinking omg omg army is going to be a cyberman.

  • cybermen in need more love in the show

  • 2:10 haha "you will be assimilated" RETURN FIRE @ for ripping cybermen

honestly all i hear at 0:13 is lasers like exactly between 0:12 and 0:14,

    what sound did you mean?

  • What is that noise at 0:13?

  • wow. those things are worse than the damn Borg after all.eww. LOL

  • How to make ur video mirrored?

  • dr.octogonopuss....BLARRRGG

  • bobbiebob1000 dah who hasn't you crevasse

  • seen it

  • What a pointless scene. Check out my spoof to this one

  • What I don't understand is... if the machine parts of a Cyberman can still move and "think" independently without a living human brain inside, then why do they need human brains/heads in the first place? What is there to gain from "fresh meat" if all it does is sit in there and rot?

  • @BadWolfSJ Yes, one of the many complaints against Moffet. He writes things that completely ignore/alter long established standards of the show. Of course, Moffet fans will defend to the death his right to do so...

  • @bhobtoo Keep in mind 2 things. It seems the original Cyberman shell has the capability for simple commands and actions, but is weaker (and has simpler programming) than a driven Cyberman suit. Remember Mickey fought one off on the Blimp after confirming it was hollow.

The same thing applied to the astronaut suit. It can function basically on its own, but needed a driver to operate its more advanced functions.

  • his cybus logo is on the wrong way around

  • @destroyeraz091 its cos its mirrored ^^

  • @destroyeraz091 The videos flipped.

  • doctor who?

  • @Chrisindapurplehouse You should learn to accept people before you call them trolls. I didn't insult anyone, nor did I make rude remarks, nor did I insult Doctor Who, as it's my favourite program. Calling people a troll is really not in the spirit of the program. Have the decency to at least tell people it doesn't sound right to you, before you jump to the derogatory remarks.

  • LOOK AT ME IM A TARGET!

  • @fishboyorman LOL.

  • @freedomfighterguy1 i love doctor who

  • the cyberman was actually quite creepy in this scene

  • Lol

  • @antpenguin Only the Cybus Cybermen from the parallel earth remove the brain. Moff has brought back the original cybermen from this universe (sadly due to the costume, loads of people think they the cybus ones), and they convert the entire body

  • @antpenguin Only the Cybus Cybermen from the parallel earth remove the brain. Moff has brought back the original cybermen from this universe (sadly due to the costume, loads of people think they the cybus ones), and they convert the entire body

  • @Gazz1982 It is rather confusing. I would have loved to see a Cyberwars between the two groups (Cybus vs Mondas).

  • @shmikex Yeah, I will admit it is really confusing for those who don't follow Moff's twitters, or haven't seen much pre 2005 Doctor Who. He really needs to have it stated on screen, instead of a bunch of hint. Funny you should mention a Cyber-war, Was only talking about that the other day, and it would make a great special

  • THE BORG!!!

  • @phantomunmasked The Borg were inspired by the Cybermen. No Cybermen, no Borg.

  • @Kaagh178 the Cybermen were first introduced in 1966 and we first saw The Borg in 1988, so The Cybermen were first and they are both very similar in their own right

  • @BarneystudiozFilmz I said they were first. The Cybermen first cropped up as you said in William Hartnell's swansong, 'The Tenth Planet' in 1966. The Borg weren't in the original Star Trek and didn't appear until The Next Generation. They're similar species in many respects with the exception that the Borg operate as a collective (unless a Borg is freed) whereas the Cybermen operate alone if need be as shown in this scene.

  • @Kaagh178 Well done, couldn't have put it better myself,

  • how come a sword could pierce a cyberman which is supposed to be imune to bullets

  • @pitchblacksuperdarkh Because it's Rory wielding it!

  • @mattmanganon it's a friendly shout-out to star trek, they've made references to each other before

  • When the tentacles grabbed her the first thought in my mind " tentacle rape "

  • ripping off the thing to an extreme there

  • I love the look on Amy's face when she gives the thumbs up.

  • Big octopus thing that says, "you will be assimilated..." This is a sad face. :c This should have been a happy face. But it's not.

Love Star Trek and I lurve the Doctor... but they should stay separate or I'll end up loving Doctor Star Trekking Where?

  • 20 likes and next time i play dogeball ill run up and yell 'Look at me im a target!'

  • 2:09 that proves that the Cybermen are now trying to be the Borg, in the original Doctor Who they never said that. next thing you know it will say "resistance is futile."

  • I've seen enough British television to know where this is going...

  • Behold, the formidable capabilities of Cyberman armour! Vulnerable to... Penetration by sword...

  • @Xenomorphine It its defence, its a rusty old out of practice Cyberman. Auton Romans catch it unawares.

  • @Xenomorphine Though to be fair, it was Rory. As an Auton.

  • @Xenomorphine well, to be fair, the Cyberman was damaged, so it was probably weaker than usual

  • @MyWilliam1996 Lower power reserves wouldn't magically transform the armour. :)

  • @Xenomorphine but the armour looks damaged as well

  • @MyWilliam1996 It is after that!

  • 1:17 I've seen enough hentai to see where this is going...

  • @SakakiShizuma That was my EXACT thoughts during that scene xDDD

  • @SakakiShizuma

    I quite agree.

  • @SakakiShizuma

    LMAO

  • Why not just a brain? yeh and since it had no brain how DID it work/ I suppose it was very weak but still

  • @pablotheepic

Going back to the old series with David Tennant as the Doctor, when they're in the parallel universe, you find that the circle piece on their chest opens up and contains what operates them, parts of the brain and every single emotion...but the emotions are off, which when the Doctor switches the emotions on, the Cyberman then sees him/herself as human again and notices what they have become, driving them insane and eventually resulting to death. But that is how they still work xx

  • If the cyberman can operate without the brain, why does it need the brain?

  • @notablegoat Because they want to convert humanity, duh

  • @redjirachi1 I know that, but the whole point of the Cyberman body was to extend the life of a human. It isn't supposed to operate independantly of a human brain. And yet here it is, very clearly working without one. I don't know, it kinda annoys me. The writing lately has gotten.... ridiculous.

  • @notablegoat

The Cybermen convert people because they believe its the right thing to do. Not to increase their numbers or anything. And by the way a Cyberman operated without a brain in "The Age of Steel" so its hardly a new thing for the Cybus Cybermen.

  • "look at me, i'm a target!"

  • im confused if the cybus cybermen are just a brain in a suit then how come this one had a skull in its head? even still this isnt the only bit where there has been a cybus cyberman with more body parts than just the brain.

  • @RandomCyberDude164 In the season 2 episode 'Doomsday' the Cybermen had a battle with the Daleks and both sides needed more troops so rather than transplanting the brain they just put whole bodies inside the Cyber Suit.

  • This is the kind of body horror we need more with Cybermen.

  • who was that at the end who saved amy?

  • @smalliehallam Spoilers! :P

  • Look at me im a target!

  • It's only got one arm...one arm loaded with a lethal auto-targeting laser gun. Have fun with that

  • love how they used the cybermen theme at 2:35

nice to hear it. I get almost as exited hearing that short piece as I do actually seeing the cybermen (is that wierd)

  • What the hell its helmet open

  • i swear the cyberman halmet only had the brain it it not the hole head :/

  • @eysofstarclan96 In the torchwood episode they went over emergency converstion were it was attempted to upgrade the full body to save time.

  • @SSJPENGUIN oooooooooooohh right =3

  • LOOK AT ME, I'M A TARGET!

  • They really need to bring them back t the series soon.

  • I have to admit, Steve has done a better job with the Cybers so far, "zombie" Cyperman? Brilliant.

  • You will be assimilated....was that a knock against Star Trek?

  • @lkgrave Technically, star trek using that phrase was a knock against doctor who since the the Cybermen used it in their first story 'The Tenth Planet' in 1966

  • you know how I always have brilliant ideas?

    yeah.

    sorry!

    lol :)

  • When the Cyberman's helmet opened they copied it from Indiana Jones. Nice going moffat

  • @Pacorocks411 Funny you should say that. Moffat was playing that music from the first Indiana Jones movie, specifically that part when Indy takes the Golden Idol and replaces it with a bag of sand in the Temple when they were filming the Pandorica scenes in order to get Matt and Karen "in the mood"

  • @SinDawg030 Is that an insult? Or are you just saying?

  • @Pacorocks411 At you? No of course not! Really though, they were playing Indiana Jones music on set to get them "in the mood". Saw it on Doctor Who confidential for this episode.

  • @SinDawg030 Oh okay. I watch confidential also. It's very good. I heard they were going to cancel it. Also, this scene turned out wonderful

  • Comment removed

  • @Pacorocks411 So Indiana Jones had a cyberman with no head, a time lord being electrocuted by an arm, a girl who can bring things back with her memories, and a box called the Pandorica that can trap time itself?

  • @jrdennis95 Obviously, you didn't read what I said. I said "When the Cyberman's helmet opened they copied it from Indiana Jones. Nice going moffat" I am not talking about the episode or anything about it. Just that when the Cyberman's helmet opened and it shook and made "ghostly" laughing they copied it from Indiana Jones. Watch Raiders of The Lost Ark and you'll know what I mean. :)

  • @jrdennis95 You're a dick head and an idiot

  • @Chrisindapurplehouse That's amusing. I wasn't insulting Pacorocks411, I was making a joke. I've seen Raiders of the Lost Ark, I know what he means. You've got no right to come here and call me that, as I haven't insulted a single person on here. Well, I'm going to insult you now by calling you a troll, but you had it coming to you.

Stop being a troll, and read the conversation before you insult people.

  • @jrdennis95 I think you're a troll your sense of humour just comes off as trolling and what you said in that comment just made me cringe regardless and I'm not a troll I would have spammed you if I was

  • love the look, we are working in a self design of a cybermen looking like this one.

  • There is only one thing worse then a cyberman..... and that is a zombie robot cyberman

  • like a scene out of a hammer horror movie!

  • SHOOT ME IM A TARGET!!!

  • look at me im a dalek LLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLL

  • @ben10ultimatealien12 he said "I'm a TARGET"

  • Note how Moffat makes a single, almost-dead Cyberman scarier than a whole city full of them in Series 2.

  • And here's Rory!

  • oh dear self building self replicater with intelligent design not as we know it Jim hahahaha was that right can I say replicator or is it ter lmao she says leaving her head on the block

  • @tzepesh20 Well the Cybermen do have a right to use that phrase technically they came first in 1966 and the borg were like 1991 or along that year period.

  • that cyberman is badass! I call it the cyberzombie!

  • Way over the top...

  • The Pandorica Opens was OK (still had big issues) but the The Big Bang was (IMHO) a big bag of Bandini as far as a plot. You can do better guys!

  • My favourite scene from this episode :D

  • amy hot

  • um..i thought the cybermen just took the brain? not the whole head and how can the cyberman still function without the brain? :/

  • @Demonsword92 I'm guessing seeing as they're half robot, they can function without the brain. And I they use whole bodies now.

  • @Demonsword92 The cybermen from the alternative universe only take the brain, the cybermen from the Doctor's universe are a different breed they "cybernise" the entire body.

  • @Hecatean they're the same cybermen! they were created on a parallel world and crossed through the void. Stop making up shite

  • @Demonsword92 "Making up shite"?!?! *Gasps* My honour as a life long Who fan, impuned! Allow me to defend my good name. If you think I'm lieing about there being a breed of Cybermen from the Doctor's universe please cross reference "cybermen" with "Mondas". If you mean about this being the aforementioned breed, please have a good read of page 7 of the latest Doctor Who Magazine. Granted they (and I) could simply be wrong but it's unlikely -

  • Comment removed

  • @Hecatean continued- Given that the DWM team work VERY closely with the production team for news, the M.O. of the Cybermen here is more like the Mondasians than the "Cybusmen" lot and they have space craft. Looks like it's RIP Cybusmen (particularly after The Next Doctor) and welcome back to the originals.

  • @Hecatean Did they not say something like these are the Mondasian Cybermen but they didn't have enough money in the budget to make a whole new Cyberman suit just for one or two scenes?

  • @AlexanderT21 Exactly.

  • @Hecatean the original cybermen from mondas are extinct

  • Comment removed

  • @Hecatean right..and all the cybermen just happen to keep john lumic's design?

  • @Demonsword92 Good point well made but then parallel worlds, big coincidences and a splash of poet license aren't the poorest of bedfellows. If they'd written the story a bit differently and had Lumic create Terran Daleks in Pete's world I imagine they would have been identicle to the Daleks of 2005- 2010. If I, the DWM lot and anyone else in our camp are right *shrugs*then we're right, if we're wrong *shrugs*then we're wrong. Just a bit of fun.

  • @Demonsword92 no theyre not both still exist and the cybermen look similar to modasian cyberman because lumics team discover the head and part of shell casing of a dead mondasian cyberman in his universe the technology is based on but in our universe as shown in the game which is canon the mondasian cybermen have merged with paralell earths cybermen for mutual benefit the only difference is that on the chest the logo looks like cybermans face this one with the pandorica is obviously from b4 then

  • @Chrisindapurplehouse well i don't remember watching that on doctor who lol i thought they look the same through pure coincidence or to please the fans,we can't have them looking different now ;) look what happened to the teletubby daleks

  • @Demonsword92 it was in the canon of the game which is canon to rest of the franchise strangely amy has to be explained what a cyberman is here even the game is ostensibly set before this episode since rory isnt around maybe rory was busy at the time and it is after pandorica or amy is just forgetful nevertheless in the game that explaination is applied though never actually stated by the cyberman more through a series of flashbacks and some exposition from the doctor

  • "LOOK AT ME, I'M A TARGET!"

    love that part

  • Gaaaagh I love Amy at 0:35!

  • "It's only got one arm" *Thumbs up* :-P

  • in The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang even though the Silence was the real villain the Cybermen and the Daleks took the spotlight in the finale.

  • I love it when the Doctor jumps out & says "Look at me! I'm a target!"

  • @tzepesh20

I prefer the classic Cybermen myself.

  • Love the music when The Cyber Body comes out from the shadows. Anyone tell me what it's called?

  • @Superspy315 It's sorta like a new version of The Cybermen theme music from series 2.

  • @Superspy315 It's a little musical call back to Murray Gold's theme for the Cybermen that he composed for Series 2. He somehow makes it a bit darker and creepier, in my honest opinion.

  • Now the Cybermen are worthy villains again!

  • "You will be assimilated" Cyberman

    "You and who's body?" Amy

Body marches out from shadows. LOL

"My body. Resistance is futile." Cyberman

  • Look at the shadow on the wall at 2:25!

  • @Denyernator haha never noticed that. I remember they had a guy with one arm for this scene, but then they had to reshoot some of it and the guy wasn't available, so they covered the guys arm in green so that they could erase it later. Guess they forgot about the shadow.

  • @JohnsySHR Yeah I saw that confidential too. I think that's when I first noticed it.

  • Its only got one arm litterally (Thumbs up)

    lol

  • Why does the cyberman sound fx sound like robocop?

  • I love the music that played when the Cyber body came for it's Cyber head.

  • Thanks for uploading this scene it's one of the best scenes out of that episode.

  • I would like to see the Daleks being able to keep walking without thier heads and all, haha Go Cybermen!

  • @GeneralDroid I'd actually like to see that too

  • @GeneralDroid i dont think you can get a dalek's head of at all!

  • @WilligsPage I don't know they did it with R2D2

  • @GeneralDroid Daleks can't walk anyways

  • it's only got one arm, literally *thumbs up*

  • LOOK AT ME IM A TARGET!

  • This is my favourite scene from that episode too, that Cyberman looks a bit drunk staggering towards Amy

  • @Barneystudioz Ha Ha Lol

  • @Barneystudioz well amy looked drunk too lol
