  • I have always liked Hawk... Now that Dave Niehaus is gone, he is my favorite baseball broadcaster... Keep puttin' 'em on the board Hawk.. Just not against the M's.. Please :)

  • hawk's a legend

  • When Hawk played for Kansas City Athletics, Charlie Finley give him $50 to ride Charlie O. the mule.

  • He may be crazy...He may be corny...But i like him...He brings the game to the fans as a fan...

  • He is unequivocally the worst baseball announcer I have ever heard. For all the years he has been in baseball, his knowledge of the sport is moderate. Perhaps the biggest homer in the history of professional sports, his catch phrases are awful and he is arrogant as can be... ..How Steve Stone can stand working with him is amazing...

  • @claimboxx No.

  • Hawk Harrelson is player, a GM, and a fan. He understands the game from all perspectives. He knows that his unabashed "homerism" is an added value. He makes the game more interesting even when the Sox are losing. He and Ozzie Guillen are the heart and soul of the White Sox. It will be a sad day when "He gone!"

  • I like the homer announcer. I rather have the announcer root for their team rather than playing it down the middle. It's boring and nobody likes it.

  • hes unique lol

  • He'd be fine if he didn't have the worst catch phrases of all time... Annoying as hell.

  • @deckham u mean one of the BEST catch phrases of all time. hes clearly a legend

  • @Yousmellbad187 no, it's pretty annoying. He seems like a pretty cool dude though.... just don't like the catch phrases.

  • I love that hawk hits his desk, because I definitely punch a pillow at the same exact moment. Hawk is the man, glad he is on our side.

  • Biggest homer ever.

  • Anyone growing up watching the White Sox appreciates "The Hawk" as part of the broadcasting experience. Let's not forget he was a very good player. 35 HR and 109 RBI in 1968 for the BoSox. He retired in his 20s! Had he been healthy for a whole career, he easily would have been a 300HR guy. Gotta respect that.

  • thanks for the video. I love Hawk, I love the White Sox even more. Great video

  • Paulie! Paulie!

  • haha i remeber watching ichiro rob that homerun at 2 minutes
