@ninuxy CardCheck legislation refers to unions & other employees knowing how you voted. The current laws were originally written to prevent employers from harassing or retaliating against employees that were pro-union. The unions now want to remove the anonymity so they can do what employers used to do. What is it u don't understand? Or do u think those mobs they hire to march in front of banker's homes are situation-specific? It's called duress. Unions use power to gain power. Go to Greece.

@BurnOutXL First you failed to rebuttal about the statement regarding "negative" voting count if someone does NOT vote in any election which is a bogus premise.

Second, I can care less if anyone finds out who I voted for. If the unions, which only comprise 8% of working force in the private sector, or my "employer" can find out who I cast my vote for, then it is an "equal" opportunity for both side to find out about my voting history. It makes no difference. Your point is void to begin with.

You didn't get my crux of argument. Not voting should not be counted as neither "yes" nor "no," period. In real life, if I don't participate in an election, my vote should NOT be counted "against" any candidate. The consequence of the election regarding my lack of voting "will" effect me in some way or another; same reasoning should apply to those employees who do "not" vote.

I don't even know why the CardCheck is an issue. Anyone can find out which party I voted for; that's why they flood my phone lines and mailbox with inundated misinformation vis a vis the opposing candidate and aggrandizement of their guy/gal. The employers recently are telling the employees, if certain bill is passed, then you "might" lose your job. How's that for voters intimidation? Nobody's doing anything about that. The question should be how we should allow employees to form a union or not.

And get this, banks are begging him to lend (another big lie) and he refuses because he is uncertain about future!!! So he doesn't want to grow and his business is trouble!!!
