Alcohol and Cigarettes kill more people every year then most drugs! They ONLY reason why it is illegal is because of the economy. It would put pharmacies and the paper industry out of business, you can grow marijuana in months but it takes trees decades to grow then we just cut them down. States would also have an increase the wealth of the state and would help bring this country out of the depression. It is more effective then most meds that doctors prescribe now. Those pills can ruin people!!!
While I agree that pot should be decriminalized (for all the reasons she points out and others), I don't agree that the university should treat it the same way as alcohol as long as it is illegal. I don't want you in my dorms with marijuana because I don't want drug dealers, shootings, large amounts of money, police raids, etc. in my dorms.
In my school they made presentation and said that a spliff has as much tar as a pack of cigarettes and that it causes cancer and shit wow some serious BS I wouldn't think schools would do this kinda propaganda

@ApacheWarrior1977 Weed doesnt have more tar it has stronger amounts of carcinogens but THC,CBD,CBN and other cannabinoids have anti-tumor and anti-cancer properties thus preventing the chance of lung cancer. Also may I add stoners dont smoke as much as a cigarette smoker.

@ApacheWarrior1977 It does have more tar in it than tobacco but tobacco is grown with a radioactive fertilizer and weed isn't. Also there is not one case in which a marijuana only smoker has ever gotten lung cancer.

I really dont see cannabis causing cancer and extreme lung problems alone but it is true most stoners smoke cigarettes too so this could be a cause of cancer and extreme lung problems. I used to smoke cigarettes and I am a stoner. I see many stoners that smoke tobacco but I believe tobacco came first. The only reason why I used to smoke cigarettes was when I was stressed after a long day of work and I didnt feel like getting high. This later became an addiction.
@killeroforce 100% i used to smoke weed all the time and i hated alcohol. Being with my partner now though and having a small child i stopped smoking weed and picked up drinking... big mistake
