  • Thanks for your kind words. If I'm the worst what do you consider the best bartender? Someone who letks you drink for free because your too cheap to pay for your drinks?

  • @jtiano I think you were pretty good

  • this guy makes the worst real life bartender ..

  • If I drank all the drinks, I wouldn't be able to make videos.

  • How come he never drinks the drinks?

  • @MultiJcjohn It's his job as a bartender to make and serve drinks. A professional bartender does not drink on duty

  • There are many different recipe variations. We choose this one because the ingredients are easy to obtain and they make a great tasting tropical drink.

  • Great recipe, gonna make them this weekend.

  • It's a classic.

  • LOOKS REALLY GOOD TO DRINK!!!!!!!

  • I may not drink but I like to watch these videos just for entertainment

  • you look like a zombie.... lol

  • @kpxflameboy Thanks for your kind words. What do you want to be when you grow up?

  • @jtiano yw

  • Looks like a good one

  • The nicest recipe I found for this cocktail was at Alcomixer. I made it for last halloween, but I'll be making it again THIS halloween! My guests loved it.

    The ingredients are as follows:

    20 ml of dark rum

    20 ml of white rum

    15 ml of apricot liqueur

    15 ml of cherry liqueur

    20 ml of gold rum

    5 ml of grenadine

    30 ml of orange juice

    30 ml of pineapple juice

  • What does that particular version taste like? I recall the history of the drink when it came out at around 1930? There were three different types of rum, like a Bahama mama. A wiki article said that the original recipe which I believe was created by Donn Beach had lime juice, falernum, Angostura bitters, Pernod, grenadine, and a combination of cinnamon syrup and grapefruit juice. I will defiantly have to try both versions to find out. lol great videos btw.

  • The problem with the internet is that you have dumb asses like this one who knows nothing trying to act like their an expert. If you don't like the videos, you don't have to watch them.

  • @jtiano You should really stop getting so butthurt about every little comment someone makes, kinda makes you look like an insecure bitch. This is youtube buddy just get used to it.

  • @IRBoomkin I reply to stupid comments because they are about misinformation from rude jerks who don't have anything better to do than bash someones creative work that is posted as a free service.

  • They call themselves a school? Their technique is poor. The ingredients are poured into the glass so you can see what you have added. FInd another school.

  • wonder why i have a massive headache this morning :((

  • Sorry bro. I don't plan on attending your classes.

  • We have updated the recipe to the original from Trader Vic check up the new recipe.

  • this was the recipe for your mai tai cocktail, you drunk

  • this is made wrong

  • @cityisonfire1 There are many different recipes. What's yours?

  • One of my favorite actors

  • this guy really reminds me of Al Pacino

  • great drink but you have to be careful. At the original Trader's Vics in Hollywood there was also a 2 drink limit.

  • there's 2 per customer limit at the tiki lounge in my area. hhmmm...

  • Hey, thanks for your kind words. Drink recipes are like cooking recipes. Everyone has a favorite.

  • You know, not for nothing, but I don't see anyone else making so many well detailed mixed drinks with a good knowledge and good communication skills. I don't know why someone would bash on jtiano's tutorials. If this skill doesn't fascinate you, then why bother watching? And he did mention it's a bartending school, so not all bottles may be labeled exact as they would be in a real bar situation. I think jtiano made some great comprehensive instructional videos.

  • Zombie

Hurricane Glass NOT Collins Glass !!!

    Fill with Ice

    1oz of Bacardi Light Rum

    1oz of Bacardi Dark Rum

    1/2oz Creme de Almond

    1/2oz of Triple Sec

Fill with Pineapple juice and Orange Juice

    Float 1/2oz Bacardi 151

Enjoy and get Fucked Up !! =]

  • This same recipe is in the "Goth Bible". Except the writer just says "fruit juice" and does not specify any type. I usually leave the heavy proof room out, it just tastes better to me that way.

  • I can open a beer :)

  • okay he said "151" while he added meyers dark...

  • all that alcohol....goodbye liver.

  • I feel sorry for you because your another internet know nothing. If you're such an expert , where are your videos? We have trained and helped thousands of people become well paying working bartenders. What's your story?

  • @jtiano Funny, i watched most of your videos now, and you might have a good knowledge about bartending, but you made some disgusting stuff like using sour mix instead of fresh fruit and fine sugar. So im not surprised that people don't believe you. Ive worked in the past here in Germany as bartender, and most of the guest would have slapped me in the face for such stuff like sour mix, fresh ingredients really make the difference. I hope you didnt taught people to use premixes like sour mix.

  • i feel sorry for this guy, come on you cnt be a bar trainer,i feel more sorry for the students...and what kind of shake was that?starting to poor the ice before the ingredients?in the shaker itself instead of the boston glass? let s not even talk about the pour and the ingredients used for this zombie...must taste aweful, sorry to say but...no way am ordering one of them if its done this way!

    to real bartenders, keep shaking...peace

  • @osi87 I've had it done this way, don't knock it until you've tried it.

  • that'll fuck ya up

  • I believe the original Zombie had Absinth and apricot brandy in it.

  • There are several different recipes that call for ingredients that are difficult to find. This is a simple variation.

  • This guy can't be a bartender if he has to measure and almost spills it at 2:05

  • What makes you such an expert?

  • @punkgunner He was measuring for video purposes.

  • @punkgunner some bars and a lot of the chain restaurants like chilis and applebees MAKE their bartenders measure drinks. its called portion control

  • @punkgunner he has to measure so the drink gets out perfect and yes...he was dumb at 2:05 for spilling that ;)

  • It does, look it up

  • In response to Myers 151 not being stocked in most bars; There is NO Myers 151. It does not exist.

  • No, Myers does not make a 151.

  • Respond to this video...

  • Man, next time you even try or think of doing a Cocktail...dont do it trow yourself by the window!!

    prefentlyfrom a very tall building!!!

READ THE DON THE BEACHCOMBER OR TRADER VICK'S COCKTAILS BOOKS!!!!

  • Thanks for your kind words. There are many different variations of this drink. This is a simple one with the ingredients that are easy to find.

  • @jtiano dont listen to all the haters, you rock and ur cocktails are awesome

  • @Gremlinbilly Next time you feel the urge to leave a comment, learn some spelling and grammar.

  • @Gremlinbilly I'm sorry.. what language are you speaking?

  • this guy is so boring.

  • thanks for you comments, I thinking of selling this video to people like you to help them go to sleep

  • @jtiano at least you're a positive boring guy :D

  • 2:38 WTF ?

  • weakest shake ever !

  • tasty!

  • I don't really consider triple sec a liquor, it's basically orange syrup....

  • @infin1ty its orange destillate, not syrup. :)

  • @infin1ty Are you saying that because it has less alcohol (15-30%) or cuz ur from someplace that actually uses triple sec syrup (0% alcohol)?

  • 2:39 LMFAO!!!!!

  • i want make my own zombie drink at home... =]

  • Still not as potent as a Long Island Iced Tea.

  • @fixdeluxe1 I am from Long Island and our drink is the strongest and nastiest.

  • Hmmm i wonder how long it would take to drink the lovely alcohol behind the strange man :)

  • yumm drink up brainsssssssssssssssss

  • i didn't realized that myers made a 151....

  • There are so many recipes for a Zombie.

The basic formula is rum, rum, rum, juice, juice, juice. Sometimes a sweetener (orgeat, grenadine, falernum, or apricot liqueur) is added. And a float of 151 rum or pastis for extra kick.

Adding coconut rum makes a Bahama Mama.

  • wheres the 151?!

  • @FSTA54 he added 151 on top as a floater..... did you watch the whole video?

  • I dont know if I got him right, did he put Amaretto in it? Never heard of that?! I know the reciept:

    4 cl White rum

    4 cl brown rum

    2 cl Overproof Rum

    4 cl Pineapple

    4 cl Orange

    1 cl Grenadine

    4 cl lemon

  • I have no idea where so many people get their drink recipes from. The BEST recipe hands down. 1-1/2 oz light rum 1-1/2oz dark rum 1/2 oz of apricot brandy 1oz lemon juice 1-1/2 oz Orange Juice 1-1/2 oz of Pineapple juice. Shake and strain in to a Highball or Hurricane w ice. The Floater is not a Pina Colada floater - I.e. Dark Rum. The floater IS 1/2oz of 151 rum. This is how to make them when you work ON an island at a resort, poolside next to the atlantic ocean.
  • Nice hygiene 2:36-2:53..

  • i thought the same thing . i wouldnt drink it after that straw went in

  • When I was a bartender in the UK. A Zombie was a layered drink, with various different liquers & spirits creating a striped effect as each layer was VERY carefully poured on the top of the other.

1 is this STILL a Zombie, 2 If not when did it change

  • @crushed51 Only time i had a real layered zombie was @ beijing airport. its only in america that they changed it cuz apparently its 2 difficult 4 ur average dumb-ass bartender because u actually need 2 know which of the ingridients are heavier 2 make it layer god forbid they they actually use their head! whatever that is it isn't a zombie -no tip 4 this douche!

  • omg i know every tutorial does it in the shaker...and i'm like....umm if i did that in my bar i'd get shot.....

  • i think part of the name "Zombie" is because the drink looks like brains

  • Okay then let me show you who to make a Zombie that works like it should.

    2cl Cherry Brandy

    4cl brown Rum

    4cl white Rum

    1cl Jamaica Rum 73%

    4cl Orange Juice

    4cl Pineapple Juice

    1cl Maracuja Syrup

Shake it with Cubes. Strain it in your Hurrican or Large Size Highball filled with crushed Ice.

on Top 2 cl Grenadine so you have a Blood Effect.

  • this version of the zombie recipe sounds like it should have u feelin like a zombie forreal, let me ask u wut is maracuja syrup, were can i get it from??

  • one of my personal favorites is grog lol with 151 lol only wen i make it its more rum than anithin else

  • @Cusamic what was wrong in the video?..why your variant??

  • this should be called the "panty dropper" lol

  • omg that looks so yummy!

  • i suggested to light up the top cause it will burn and you could call it Burning head zombie xD

  • awesome drink :) to end your day :)

  • Overproof booze is illegal to serve in some parts of Canada, good for lighting fires and putting on a bit of a show aswell.

    Nice videos.

  • Zombie/sling glass

  • Creme de Almond or Creme de Noya or Creme de Noyauex is dry almond; Amaretto is sweet.

  • if there is a god ... he drinks zombies for sure , this is the sh** ^^ i love it :D

  • the thing youl walk like a zombie is true

  • Hence the part where he says there are a number of different variations for it cocktailkid.
