  • to hell with the democrats and republicans both sides do they same shit when they are in power and when they aren't they just coplain these ass holes don't give a shit us or our rights. and we all get swept up in the game like a big superbowl where you have to pick a side. you don't you can think for yourself. "those peoplethere in washington, they just takes care of #1 but #1 ain't u,u ain't #2." -zappa

  • WOW he SPeaks French!

  • It was nice of him to come out to that Liberal Leadership convention in 2006, but that convention ended up being the biggest waste of time and money until the 2009 convention.

  • Oh I see. If this nut wants to come to Canada the all-mighty media deems that it is okay. But hey, if a conservative wants to come and speak the all-mighty media does not think it to be a good idea. Maybe next time I am interviewing possible employees I will just forget to mention all the negro applicants, eh?

  • I don't think he practiced the speech much, he tripped over his words on the teleprompter quite a few times.

  • I see him as a very charismatic man. I undertand, that you might not agree or dislike him, there is no need to insult him or anyone who supported him.

  • I voted for him in 2004, I am a socialist, and I read the New York Times. However, I don't drink and I don't have a Volvo.

Howard Dean is an outstanding leader; someone who unlike most leaders within the Democratic Party is willing to stand up for his beleifs and take on the Republican machine. It's sad that the American right-wing media managed to bring him down and end his candidacy in '04. He would have made a very good president.

Oh well. With luck, we'll get Edwards in '08.

  • Well, I know that most liberals are really socialists. I do commend you for at least being open about your beliefs. I wish your friend John Edwards and Hillary would be open about their socialist beliefs. At least then we would have a clear and open debate. I, on the other hand, am an Adam Smith free-enterprise economic thinker.

  • You believe in the free market... except in regards to the $450 billion-dollar-a-year taxpayer trough that the defense contractors feed at every year. I don't see many conservatives complaining about those "handouts." Ask a solider; they have stories about $75 wrenches and $700 dollar sleeping bags. If single-payer healthcare is "pork," than what is this?

  • Socialism is a good thing

  • Clearly you've never been to Vermont.

  • His French has a funny accent to it. Still though, formidable!

  • Too bad they couldn't keep Daffy Dean.

  • Yeah, he could throw one of his curve balls at Bush's balls.

  • Canada, as you know we are entering an election year, most American don't want to put another Bush in office.

guess what, the Internet is playing a big roll this time and ppl in Canada are influencing the American ppl. lord knows some need it. I ask that if you influence ppl, look at Ron Paul videos on youtube. thank you.

  • hahahah howard dean. what a loveable loser.

  • Sweet he can speak French!!! That is awesome!

  • I was so upset that day. I couldn't believe they got an American to speak at the convention. There are so many Canadians they could have asked. Why bring someone else from ANOTHER COUNTRY!?!

  • Don't forget that the desperate Lie-berals also brought in before that diminutive drunken Irish rockstar, Bonehead Bono.

  • Only a Democrat has the capability to speak a second language. This obviously means that only the left is pro-education and that the fascist right is nazi-homophobe.

  • If that's the case, then why are leftists such a bunch of uneducated retarded welfare cases?

  • Evidently, you are a racist and a xenophobe. Reading and writing are obviously out of your reach. Whom did you pay to type for you.

  • You're an uneducated left-wing retard.

  • Lol, il casse son français en calisse! Mais il s'est forcé, c'est le principal... Ouais, le respect et l'égalité, va donc le dire à ton pays pauvre con.

  • I don't know if Dean would stand a chance on '08. There's no way he would have become Chairman if every democrat voted for that position. Good luck to you Dems in '08 though. I'm holding out for another evil right wing comeback, myself. However, I'm not going to push the name calling or anything like that.

  • Yeeeee Haaaaah! Go Dean Go! good man, good man.

  • Yeah! Go to Hell, Howard the Coward Dean!

  • Dean what an asswipe! May god help the Democrats in 08. OOPS! i'm sorry you guys don't believe in god.

  • LOL who cares if someone doesnt believe in a fictional character in the sky? rofl

    Try again ^_-

  • Howard Dean for president 2008 !

    Give 'em HEALTH CARE HOWARD!

    Run America needs you now!

  • The Republicans could run a brick as their candidate against any Dumb-ocrat and still win the election!

  • Yeah right, repubs are sickos and will not win this time.

  • Are you Hillary Clinton?

  • the republican party and the conservative party of canada are two completely separate parties with way different ideologies. but hey, ignorance is power, right?

  • War is Peace!!!

    Slavery is Freedom!!!

    Ignorance is Strength!!!

  • GO Dean - He's great and resilient - Dean-Dems do it better!

  • Rightontheright, whatever you're smoking, I want some.

  • Howard has a sense of humor, a sense of perspective, knowledge about real events and policies, and an understanding of how societies are strengthened when we work to draw people together instead of dividing them. Marks of a true leader.

  • merci beaucoup swampfoot

  • Hey Howard, why don't you stay up there?

  • Scared he'll have the Democrats take the presidency from the GOP in 2008? I would be too, if I were you.

  • Oh ya, screaming Dean is just SUCH a threat. If his leadership was so great, why are Carville and the Hillary Klan so opposed to his leadership?

  • His leadership knocked your team out on their butts, didn't it?

    No threat at all, no.

Carville is just a hired gun with no principles anyway - he ratted out strategic info to the Bush team during the 2004 Ohio post-election debacle. He's a DLC hack, or Republican Lite.

  • A bit snippy after your recent downgrading to political penny-stock status, are we? Hmmm?

    Victory is indeed sweet!

  • Beauty of it is, no one voted for Democrats, they voted against Republicans. The party of cut-and-run, Socialism Lite, and no leadership has two years to prove themselves. When they fail to, we sweep the nation. The problem with the GOP is they weren't far enough right. People didn't vote because the GOP became too liberal.

  • No leadership? Biden's 3-state plan for Iraq.

Cut and Run? Beats the party of Steal-and-Stay-and-Die.

Too liberal? Conservative ballot measures went down in flames all over the country.

Yawn. Grow up and try to lay off the easily-discredited Repuglican Talking Points.

  • You did America proud last night, Howard! What a refreshing change!!

  • bravo howard!!!!
