i made the commercial, and there was already music in the origional promo video, i couldnt get any engine noise to use. trust me, i would have used some if i could. but i think the song suits the car in the 414hp high revving V8 sort of way
the M3 isnt supposed to be elegant and classy in my opinion. its supposed to be the rebel and the crazy car of the normal 3 series. the same for the M5 and M6 with the 5 and 6 series. why else would they put a crazy engine in it?
in my opinion, to prove that they can ... to prove that they are best car makers in the world, to prove that their engines (symbolically) can fly as they once did ...!
they have to for the stuck up foolish american muscle car fanboys ... and they have every right to do so ... but then again elegance and class kicks in so they don't stoop to the level of american commercials "quoting ford: "we have been making trucks for over 100 years now" to the introduction of Toyota trucks" ... yeaa our conflict was bout the music ... lolz
just downloaded the original promotional videos from various BMW websites and put almost all of them together with windows movie maker. but as i type, Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0 is being installed on my computer, so the videos will be better sync'd, edited, and have better effects, transitions and title overlays. im working on an M3 Promo video at school.
audi rs4 is bad ass... perfect car. chek out top gear's review here on youtube... its a perfect car... but my heart still goes with m3 .. i love my e36 im planning on upgrading pretty soon... but ill still test drive da audi...

they totally screwed up this commercial ... the music doesn't do the car justice ... just the sound of the m3's engine would have made it perfect ...
