i went to a claw machine like this... i won a huge spongebob and bart simpson at once...but one of them got stuck in the slot where you get your prize so one of the workers had to open up the machine to get it.. it sucked though, cuz they took up so much room in the car on the way back lol

so the equation for every claw machine is 1/ X * Y x being out of how many times will the machine let you win once. plus then u need to factor in the pressure (Y) which is then a number when the claws is able to let you able to hold the prize. the game is not always in perfect timing with the 1 time out of X the game lets u win but most likey they will win. ive talked to a guy once in chuckie cheeses once that came to fix these machines and he told me all about them

if u guys ever read this comment u were never close on your previuos tries. all claw machines are set for a win by 1/X whatever X is for the machine. which means 1 for however amount of tries. how the machine works is there is a computer prgram that slighty but not notciably lets go of releives the tension of the claws puropley dropping the object and when your patrick went up u can see how the machine tried to amke it fall plus there is also a program for how much pressure the claw emits

those machines are programmed to have a very weak claw sometimes and then a stronger claw sometimes. It's just as much luck as it is skills.
