I would much rather these guys play it slow and somewhat clean like they just did, than to play it SCV speed and sound absolutely stupid. Get over yourselves guys, this clearly is not a DCI line. Don't expect it to sound like one. That's why you click on the SCV videos instead of bashing a drumline that (like the uploader said above) got here from absolutely NOTHING in only 6 months. Give them some freaking credit already, damn.
it really pisses me off how colleges/highschools take dci exercises and play them so much under tempo it's not funny....it's almost painful to listen to
@cwk1417 Would you rather them play it the faster tempo and make it sound worse? No line comes just bustes things out fast it takes practice smart one
alright...first off, they are a college line. let's be honest, double beat is not a hard exercise...if you don't believe me, there are plenty of videos of highschools playing double beat, some are just messing around and they can take it up to tempo. look, I'm not saying they need to take it up tempo, it's just, it makes sense for a college line to.
keren banget lhooo, gw petama liat langsung suka, padahal gak ngerti macrching band, coba dong bikin albumnya dalam bentuk CD keren banget tuh sumpah...
Apart from the other moronic responses you've recieved about this group using SCV's DOuble Beat as a warm-up exercise... I LOVE IT!!!! Considering the entry level skill for Battery and you guys are playing Murray Gus.'s Double Beat??? I applaud you guys tremendously. I love the tenor sweep variation, and cymbal visuals at 0:54.
Sweet tenor visual at 1:50 to rebridge back into the conclusion of the exercise.
Stay with it guys and get better as to NOT push the tempos to emulate a DCI Corps.
for all sorry..this guy don't have skil enough for the original version..this watering down version just simply the best process for them on that time...they're not musician and only knew drumcorps for a few month, approx. 6 month from zero to this kind of skill...
