What has bollywood done to Danny? He is perhaps the best villian in bollywood history like Amrish puri. Ageepath and Hum wouldnt had been super hits if someone else other than danny would had played the villian role. He and AB make a great villian/ hero combination.
This scene was the pinnacle of the movie. For me the movie ended with this scene - when AB says "Pehli mulakat mein maintumko kya bola...mera naam Vijay Dinanath Chauhan... pura naam....samjha...pura naam" . With this dialogue the file completes the full circle of the story. The rest of the movie after this was a mere formality of completing the ending.
I dont think comparing Bachaan with Alpachino is a good idea. Both are different. English movies do not have spicy dialogues like hindi dialogues. Alpachino plays gangsta kinda italian mafia. He fits in that role. Bachaan is different. Bachaan is good in dialogue delivery, style and acting. But, Bachaan is more popular than anybody else in India, 'cause he has touched the lives of almost all level of people in India, rich and poor; and middle class. So, people admire him.

From the early 80's to 2000, he was bollywood's top villian along with amrish puri.He's one of the few villians I recall who was a big enough star to have his own music theme even time he appeared in a movie scene. .Problem is these days they give the villian roles to other hero's in movies.

What has bollywood done to Danny? He is perhaps the best villian in bollywood history like Amrish puri. Ageepath and Hum wouldnt had been super hits if someone else other than danny would had played the villian role. He and AB make a great villian/ hero combination.

This scene was the pinnacle of the movie. For me the movie ended with this scene - when AB says "Pehli mulakat mein maintumko kya bola...mera naam Vijay Dinanath Chauhan... pura naam....samjha...pura naam" . With this dialogue the file completes the full circle of the story. The rest of the movie after this was a mere formality of completing the ending.

I dont think comparing Bachaan with Alpachino is a good idea. Both are different. English movies do not have spicy dialogues like hindi dialogues. Alpachino plays gangsta kinda italian mafia. He fits in that role. Bachaan is different. Bachaan is good in dialogue delivery, style and acting. But, Bachaan is more popular than anybody else in India, 'cause he has touched the lives of almost all level of people in India, rich and poor; and middle class. So, people admire him.

From the early 80's to 2000, he was bollywood's top villian along with amrish puri.He's one of the few villians I recall who was a big enough star to have his own music theme even time he appeared in a movie scene. .Problem is these days they give the villian roles to other hero's in movies.
