Since Bartz and the others were one level ahead of Galuf I decided to train him a bit inside Exdeath's Castle to catch up with the others. I fought Gilgamesh once and then checked everyone's exp. I decided to reset to where I leveled Galuf to 25 then get his exp. close to everyone else's. Now they all level up pretty evenly once again.

YES! Now we're talking! This is video game music at it's finest. I know I've said this before, but Nobuo Uematsu is a freakin' genius! This is definitely one of his best pieces. I think that out of my top 10 game music pieces of all time, 7 or 8 of them were by Uematsu.

Anyway, when I played this on the GBA, I learned the hard way that Mute will not work in that version. Uh-oh! Time for Plan B! Now, where's that Magic Hammer?

It's kinda funny, for some reason I always have Galuf as a berserker when rescuing the others >_> It works out for me though, he's usually powerful enough to kill off everything, including the fight with Gilgamesh. I just have to remember to spam a few potions on him between every battle. Not that I actually use potions for any other part of the game ^^

Also, that's a REAL cliffhanger right there! awesome use of the game fading out on you ^^

you know i'm really doubing that All Lucky 7's thing from FF7. it just seems so pointless to try and get it since by the time you can get 7777 HP you'll most likely have the normal ability to hit for more or if your clound just 2X slash your way through stuff withhis ultima weapon. giving and extra douse of 9999.

What Hogfish360 said. You can take out Ruby Weapon with it; that's how good it is.

Besides, 4X (midareuchi) is almost always better than 2X against bosses, especially in FFVII. With a properly-prepared Barret or Vincent (much easier with Barret), you can do 4X 9999 against ANYTHING (defense be damned). And then Knights of Round is even better yet, but still no Lucky 7s.
