Maybe its my ears But that 798 sounds sleepy {mellow} ....it had a sorta whimpy idle .....or maybe just NOT a real aggressive cam profile...either way nearly 800 inches is still gonna move that 2650 LBS 66 chevelle deep into the 7s .....
@TheRoguelement yes it is mellow now. this engine ran 6.20s in a pro street car. we took alot of compression and cam out of it. put it in my grandpas 66 chevelle hes only 76 years old lol ET to date has been 8.14 @ 182 mph
