They changed the elderly ghost woman's hands theme into the tongue theme. They changed the children into the puppets and they changed the supernatural dark theme into the supernatural silent theme.

I loved "Dead Silence." I wanted to see it when it was in theaters, but sadly, the theater that was showing it near my house literally dropped it the day before I was going to see it. Bought the DVD though, and loved it. It's deffinitly become one of my favorite horror films of the past decade.

It really is a great homage to when movies were truly creepy and eerie (and scary) and not just gorey and overtly in-your-face.
