  • what do you do with the birds....do you return them to the wild...just curious.anyway thanks for what you guys do.

  • Looks like you guys take great care of your birds unlike some warehouses and breeders

  • By the way shoot some more videos so people can se your good work and help you. Blessed.

  • That must be expensive. How on earth are you able to feed so many birds? Wow great job you do there thats for sure.

  • If I worked there, I would totally train those birds to talk up to people and say "FEED ME, SEYMOUR!"

  • Looks like a lot of hassle.

  • If I were to pay my own airfare, could you find me some seriously cheap room and board?

If I had accommodation and money to buy food, it would be an honour to work with your team and your birds.

  • is all the help voulnters look like you got a lot of them

  • @photosbychristensen - we have a small staff of workers who are paid. This is the best way to ensure that the parrots are fed and the facility cleaned properly every day - 365 days of the year.. Most other jobs are done by the many volunteers.

  • wow, it looks so messy...I couldn't imagine using such humongous effort to maintain this World Parrot Refuge; a lot of place in the world is still suffering food shortage. I think there's must have smarter way to handle this. I guess this is just another result from pet industry running out of control.

  • @teddybear2cn - It is wonderful that your heart is concerned about people "still suffering food shortage." We all must do what our spirit calls us to do to relieve the suffering in the world. I wish you much love and energy and success in your efforts to feed hungry people. Those who work to relieve suffering of animals are on the same wave-length as well. Blessings.

  • good job love what ur doing to ppl buy those birds

  • im wowed out

  • II WILLLLL OWWNN THATT PLACEE!!!

  • You are right that birds in captivity should not have a diet of exclusively sunflower seeds or they will get too much fat and not enough other nutrients and vitamins. Our birds learn to enjoy the variety of foods and have lots of room for playing and flying and screeching! to burn off the calories.

Thanks for the comments and encouragement!

  • your not supposed to give birds too many sun flower seeds or else they will be very addicted to them
