Congratulations on your new home - I hope you'll be very happy there for a long time to come. Can't wait to see the new kitchen. Here in the US I don't believe lenders would authorize occupancy without a functional kitchen. One of the cool things about YT learning about how things work in other parts of the world.

@thizizliz I do have a functional kitchen, but it's 40 years old and falling apart. That's why I'm having it ripped out and replaced. In the meantime, I'm trying to cope with a hotplate and a microwave :P
