I think that's the audio distortion on the vid. I've heard him live and talked with him for a while after the 9-12-08 Knoxville show. He really does sound like he sings. =D I'm fairly sure it's just distortion.

After him Jesse, Maynard, Khan of Kamelot(very good live) and the frontman of Shinedown, Matt from Muse, Corey of StoneSour and Slipknot, Steve Wilson of Porcupine Tree and maybe the vocalist of Staind. Those are the good voices I know in rock and metal. But only the first 4 are really good, IMO
