  • Looks really good :P

  • Actually the amount of tea depends on how strong you want it, i like to use more in mine too. Also, the steep time was almost right, you want to do any white at no more than two minutes usually because it's a sensitive tea. You CAN make any tea cold, just use twice as much as you normally would and then pour it over ice. When it melts, it diffuses the flavor. Nice review!

  • please answer.... can you ice these teas? does it mess with the taste? JW....

  • @ryangg49 you cna ice ANY tea in the word to make a cold version...with or without sweetener

  • @cutlerylover thanks for the quick response! :) everybody appreciates what you do don't stop :)

  • lol u used a bit much of the tea mix, and didn't steep quite long enough but it is some good stuff

  • Have you ever tried any of Tevanas blooming teas?

  • Comment removed

  • green teas speeds up your metabolism

  • lions tea thats the shit jeff

  • tobacco tea theres an idea

    see what that tasts like

  • @blackroses4her next time I go to the store I'll try it have you tried the peach moromoto or something like that I like it

  • I love Teavana's teas. The German rock sugar is cool too because it's actually really healthy! It grows on beets, that's why it's that reddish brown color, but because of that it has a lot of vitamins and minerals in it. Try their "Emporor's Clouds And Mist" tea, it's a really nice smokey green tea with great flavor

  • You should definitely try green coconut tea, got it from the rockafellercenter in ny from teagschwendner

  • DAMN this guy makes vid on everything.......are you trying to have the most uploads on you tube if what....

  • Try Arnold Palmer Tea. It come in a bottle and a powder u mix with water. It is Half Tea Half Lemonade

  • Been a tea drinker all my life, its really good for you and good tasting.

  • Tea is wonderful. Such variety and various types available. I personally go for Twinings Earl Grey, ad hot as you can get it. Good enough for Picard, good enough for me.

  • Jeff, don't you know that caffeine is a horrible drug that is endangering the lives of our children every day? How could you be so thoughtless and insensitive as to post videos encouraging the use of such a terrible substance?!?!?!

Totally kidding, dude. Great video. :)

  • When you will upload a video with you saying "water" for like 2 hours straight?

  • Darn you Jeff!!! After watching this I went to the Teavana website and purchased 4 different types of tea, the teamaker and some storage tins....They are sending me a sample of the tea you reviewed as a free gift too...

  • Twinings Blackcurrant is definitely the best tea out there. They're like unique blueberry variants, but so much better, I'll send you some :]

  • Tea is good for you, it may not make you stay young and live forever but it will definitely make you more healthy. I use to drink Tea, water and fruit juices and I use to feel great but lately I got lazy and started drinking pop and energy drinks, I don't feel invigorated and sharp as I use too when I drank healthy stuff. But stay away from sugar, always go with sugar free stuff

  • btw jeff u should really use 1 teaspoon of loose tea per like 2 cups

  • never use teavana though they do have good tea they are 3x over priced

also YES cutlerylover does tea reviews!!! :D

  • i came across this excellent loose tea at a local farmer's market, much better prices than teavana. nottinghall d-o-t com

  • jeff i love all of the swearing that you type but never say lol, it's fun to read.

  • is that from Vat19

  • I am really into teas right now. My favorite breakfast tea is Evolution Tea w/ Steamed Soy...SOOO good!

  • Do coffee beans

  • my favorite tea is PG tips. its a black tea and its fairly cheap

  • Chamomille isn't actually tea. Unfortunately "tea" has become a big umbrella term for any plant steeped in water, whether it actually has tea leaves in it or not. The only "tea" which is actually tea are white, green, oolong, and black (and variations thereof, like pu-erh). "Herbal tea" isn't tea as it usually just contains various herbs, fruits, and roots.

If you like tea, order from Adagio. Their teas are fantastic, and the site encourages community reviews for points (discounts on more tea!)

  • Teavana is like my home away from home. As far as how much tea leaves to use; in that tea steeper, you should fill the container with water, and use two teaspoons of tea leaves.

  • @biddycy true. Earl grey is what i have been drinking as of late.

  • earl grey tea is amazing

  • Can you smoke it? Lol. I smoked tea once. Dont ask... : D

  • I got some cheap loose leaf tea like this for Christmas and it started my hobby in fine teas. Hopefully this encourages you to research it more and start getting into nice teas from world class vendors! It's incredibly in-depth, with whole cultures and ceremonies being made around the art of tea making. Teavana is a good starting point, but not nearly up to the quality of fine teas. It's like box wine vs wine from Napa Valley.

    Cheers!

  • @TheDpower12 what could i search to find info about fine teas?

  • @TheDpower12 where should I look for some fine teas?

  • Love Teavana, don't tell anyone. Reputation you know.

  • Wait, you call this tea? Wow you learn something new everyday...

  • you use what? to boil your water?

  • @PaiRaiUno a Keurig coffe maker I just dont put a coffe K cup in it so it heats the water within a minute

  • doesn't the tea cool way fast in a glass

  • Teavana is waaaaaaay overpriced. If you have a local wegmans they often have loose teas for $20 a pound instead of $20 per ounce.

  • Also, tea is somewhat similar to tobacco. The best tea you can get is the loose variety, like pipe tobacco and cigars and all the leftovers are put in the bags, like cigarette tobacco.

  • By the way, get used to brushing teeth after every smoke. If you do this, your teeth should stay even healthier than if you weren't smoking, because you probably wouldn't brush your teeth that often.

  • I never use sugar in my tea. And I very rarely drink fruit tea. But I drink tea every day. Good old chinese black or green tea is the way to go. I used to put sugar in my tea for my whole life until I tried tea without any sugar some years ago. Since then, the idea of sweetening tea makes me sick. It's okay in coffee though.

  • So actually you just bought a big pot with a trainer? haha

  • Tea is awesome, I drink tea every day.

  • LOL at the tags

  • What are you coming to cutlerylover?

  • vat19 here on youtube sell an even better loose leaf tea maker ;)

  • looks like you made a cup of potpourri

  • I have to say that I'm now interested in Teavana. I drink tea fairly regularly...though I've just been doing the Celestial Seasonings, Chai Tea...that kind of thing. Speaking of Celestial Seasonings, their Bengal Spice is extremely good.

  • Holy fuck, dude, i used to work at teavana. Try the sevenberry sangria and opus rouge together.

  • I'm 15 and have probably had tea everyday or almost everyday since i was probably 9. LOL. Tea is great.

  • What I love about you - you know what your talking about, you don't bias from your own thoughts, and if you don't know something you don't assume anything you just explain it as an ignorance...your a solid guy

  • dude Teavana is so awesome.. one of my favorite stores to visit at the mall

  • Try the samurai chai matte mix. I have it everyday. Never gets old.

  • tea review = great idea !

I prefer Earl Grey and darjeeling !

  • try celestial seasoning tea, or mighty leaf tea its pretty good

  • You only have one hobby, an that hobby is enjoying and experiencing all the little things in life.

  • I Love tea. Not just from being British (Lol), but its so good. The Azteca Fire one sounds great! Cant wait to get some of this!

  • so awesome

  • YES!!!! This is cool! Kudos for the tea review, I totally love it.

  • really? a tea review?.......ok then.

  • That would make a good gift for someone. Never knew there was a straining cup like that.

  • German Rock Sugar?

    Rammstein sugar? /trollface.jpg

  • good video, i love tea

  • and you said you weren't interested..

  • Make more tea reviews. Theyre very interesting in a wierd way. I dont even really like tea :P

  • Awesome! I saw Jdavis's video too, my friend has one of these! They're awesome! My dad drinks tea daily, I've grown up on regular earl grey tea, good stuff!

  • PLEASE get into tea as a hobby, I love tea and would love to see some vids from you on it!

  • there is this really cool type of tea here where i live and i buy the plant its called manzanilla (its spanish) and it has a flavor similar to like honey and its really really good i highly recommend it and its good for digestion

  • What a great review, right up my alley cus I just love tea. I never had this kind or variety so I will get it asap, cus like you I now have to get it. LOL. Ps. I love the way you make your videos, Always a pleasure to watch.

  • Hey Jeff have you ever tried tchaba tea, high quality tea and have an array of flavours, also come in leafs or tea bags

  • now this is what i call an "adult beverage" !!

  • mmmmmm i love tea im salivating just wayching this

  • lol who else ran to their kitchen and made tea :D

  • ehh i dont like teavanna myself too much, i agree with the top comment. adagio has much better customer service even thought they have a down side of using flavoring

  • I have a siring stick for my tea that is a stick with rock sugar on it like rock candy.

  • I stay away from Teavana. The employees are commissioned and they are on you like a bunch of car salesmen. I prefer Adagio teas myself.

  • @blanc10 a bunch of people bothering me trying to give me free tea when I walk into a tea store...whats not to like? lol If their annoying just play with them a bit, keep asking to try stuff thyats all they will leave you alone after the 15th sample then on a full stomache you can pick what you liked and be on your way

  • @cutlerylover Not saying you made a bad choice or anything. Maybe I like to shop peacefully idk lol

  • @blanc10 I dont have a store by me I shopped quietly online then looked up coupon codes and save $20, thats the way to do it, lol

  • @cutlerylover Good find!

  • @cutlerylover JDavis? Jonathan Davis of KoRn??

  • @blanc10 My sister worked at Teavana for 4 years and never made a commission.

    Weird.

  • @blanc10 I've NEVER had that happen when I go in.. o,O

  • Lol.... Im as inpatient as you are Jeff. I also saw JDavis' video and promptly made my tea order. I'm more of a coffee guy but I would like to start drinking ice tea as my main beverage everyday instead of sweeter sodas and juices.

  • The rock sugar is unrefined sugar, it is suppose to sweeten the tea without changing the taste of it like normal sugar would.

  • @AllyourFriendsss it works very well and I found its not too sweet doesnt taste as sweet as regular sugar which I like but you need more to get the same sweetness you desire from sugar

  • that is some damn good looking! I must have, thank you for sharing!

  • dude i got that same set up for chrismas but i got i diffrent type of tea XD

  • Jeff you should try Rooibos its red tea. Actually a herb harvested from a african bush. its extremely high in antioxidants and tastes awesome.

  • were can i get this tea?

  • when are you gonna review shampoo? i've already did a review on suave tropical coconut.

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana hahaha your so loyal, thanks for sticking around ;)

  • @cutlerylover well it's your fault for making cool videos

  • Jeff, I personally feel that the reality of you occasionally enjoying a pipe and having concern for your teeth and overall health for that matter would be so minimalistic it would provoke questioning its validity. However, I'm not doctor nor a dentist and I applaud you for striving to live a healthier lifestyle. I can only speculate but pipe smoking seems to be right up your ally. I wish you the best of luck. Keep on truckin brother!

  • @CIarcher18 I enjoy it, and will continue to smoke, right now I have a bowl every other night sometiems 2, after my teeth are fixed they need to heal so no smoking for a few weeks, after that who knows, once in a while to try new bacci...I have so many I want to try!

  • Great stuff, I love herbal and fruit teas and would like to see you doing more of these reviews to give me some ideas on new teas I could try. My favourite single ingredient tea is Nettle Tea, it's got a fantastic flavour and if you have never tried it you should.

  • @Xelian86 If you like to sweeten your tea but don't want the calories from sugar or the change in flavour that honey gives you could try Agave Nectar/Agave Syrup. Made from the Agave succulent which is what Tequila is made from. It's definitely a healthier option than both sugar and honey and has no flavour, just sweetness. It's more expensive obviously, and it's touted for being 2.5x sweeter than sugar so you use less, but I don't think that's the case.

  • Drink Teavana tea all the time GREAT health benifits. I dont care for the fruity tea that much. But definately try Silver Needle white tea, I love that stuff. Dragon Well and Gyokoro are great green tea.

  • try the blackberry mojito tea from Teavana....amazing stuff!

  • Hey CutleryLover, if you want to know a bunch of information about Tevana Tea, I work there and have tried almost everything on their roster. It's great stuff.

  • @cycon0 nice, build one close to me I can actually go to, lol

  • hey Jeff! do you drink coffee? too

  • @cutlerylover you should to tea reviews

  • That thing is badasss! Sorry haha 3 comments in a row...

  • Some say that your videos are long winded. I think they are fabulous, the way they are done in mostly one take. They're really laid back, and almost conversational. It's like a friend telling me about something they think is cool (which isn't a common thing on the tubes). You don't seem to care about views, you care about the viewer. I honestly feel like you're a friend... I hope you don't mind.

  • haha Jeff, new hobby?
