It's a parody song, something like Weird Al's Beat It which was clearly about an egg, a song he was singing in response to Michael Jackson's Beat It. We aren't clear what MJ was beating though, are you saying it was an egg too? Dork.

Sigh. You knuckleheads do realize that Danny Elfman, the guy who wrote this song, is a Conservative. The song is about wussy, permissive Lib parents and a society that coddles it young.

One of the things I always liked most about Elfman and Oingo Boigo was their sarcastic sense of humor. I would not call Danny a conservative...nor would liberal fit him either. just a free thinker who poked fun at whatever he disagreed with. As for the 'Lib' parents comment...conservatives are just as likely to turn a blind eye, it just points out that it happens. My opinion anyway. Too bad Delta Nove doesn't appear to have the skill to pull off the instrumentals...but a fun parody nonetheless.

I'm afraid we don't own the rights to the original song. We produced and released this version on our label, so this video is perfectly legal for us to produce. A new video with the original Boingo version wouldn't be. Maybe you'll find it in your heart to put this one on your page anyway.
