I've beena fan of that nihon ocarina guy for ages. But - you guys rock. C'mon - give us the skinny - surely you used some Steve Albini styled mic placement to get the grunt from your asparagus. Some nice ambience on the banana too.

Well you really have to go for the Gibson asparagus. There's nothing like it. And Ryan of course has had years of classical banana flute training. He got that sound by performing triangular breathing. He's the only living person who can do it.
