  • Which soundcard do you use with the scs 3m to monitor your tracks ? I want to buy a behringer UCA 202 or the new one UFA 202 but I don't know if those are compatibles.

  • Dj Tutor is that all you have to say about traktor?

"' we can form a bit of a mix "

  • do you need an external sundcard???

  • If you´re using just this MIDI controller, you don´t need it

  • He's called a Dj tutor you idiot. He teaches for the ministry of sound. But yet you say he's shit? Cop on mate

  • This thing is a total piece of shit, got it probably 5 days ago and it doesn't work right with anything but traktor studio or serato and Stanton expects you to buy bomes midi translator to program your own shit which is borderline fucking impossible. It is the worst $200 i ever spent and am returning the shit out of it immediately.

  • @astraltrancer303 what did you try syncing it with?

  • does it have a built in soundcard?

how are you able to cue the other deck wihout revealing out the sound?

is it compatible with virtual dj?

nobody has been able to answer these questions!! not even stanton people!!

  • it's just a controler, the same way you can use a keyboard to control synths on your comp.

  • They say this works with Ableton live. I'd love to see a video on that.

  • I'm sure it's not hard to customize it with the software that comes with it.

  • Let me tell you all that the DaScratch is the best midi controller available today. i have replaced two decks and a mixer with one small device that allows me to play outside and mix in ways that turntables won't allow. Don't bother getting anything else!! Take a look at my page and you'll see just what I mean.

  • i'm sorry brow, but theres noway i would replace my decks, and mixer for that thing, i saw your vids, but thats just me

  • exactly! if it was that good, why isnt everyone using these now?!

  • it's actually hard to believe how good the 3d is till you get to use one. I'm even doing beat juggles mixed with cue triggering now. i get amazed daily. Ya'll might want to remember how clubs felt about replacing bands with some guy playing records. I have/had all the midi controllers out there, and the DaScratch kills 'em all no contest.

  • I love his vids, he explanes things very well. I just posted a video response to this, its not the best mix as im only 12 and my camera is broke. :)

  • looks like a nice controller, would like to see it in action.

  • Great to see you going back to videos on DJing. More videos on Serato etc would be much appreciated.

  • love it! i use traktor scratch pro with a vci-100

  • CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG, but in Traktor scratch pro you can controll the pitch on youre decks so you dont really need a pitch control, other wise you do need a midi controller to do precise controlling but I dont trust stanton, as I have many gear from them and their not reliable at all...

  • traktor and traktor scratch pro are two completely diff things

  • pro is newer traktor so whopty do

  • uhm, with scratch you use timecoded vinyl

    traktor is fully digital

  • Nice.

Nothing like moving your fingers around touch sensitive areas.

  • i'd prefer virtual dj

it's good for beginners and professional dj"s

  • virtual dj is shocking in a professional sense but is the best amateur software by far

  • Where's the demo lol

  • i got cue

  • since its called da scratch hopefully i can see some major scratching or minor good price too $250 bucks for a middi but it seems one would buy two instead of one

  • nice, i think this is the first video when you did a demo on something from stanton

  • NIce equipment. Keep the videos comming.

  • haha no way is it! traktors definately better

  • Nice, I am think of adding a piece of midi equipment to my setup. BTW, ellaskins, what's up with your djtutor site these days, its often unreachable. Lots of traffic I guess...

  • virtual DJ is way better than traktor

  • LOL!!!....doubtful!

  • virtual dj kicks ass dude, many professional DJs still use it

  • great vid j and nice cd ur usin to support da scratch lol mos underground great cd

  • i use only pc software..

    wish to have pioneer hardware..

  • Nicee !

  • I wonder how Pedster would get on with that...

  • One more thing - it is only "player"? I mean -

do you need mixer for 2 of those stanton's?

    see ya

  • i think! you need two , so one for each turntable. j

  • I'm looking forward to see, when you test this piece of DJ gear.

    It's really interesting.

    Greetings, practice and n'joy :P

  • @XvallorX you dont need 2 stantondaScratch to mix

  • Jonnathan - you made some video long time ago about vestax vcm-100. It's midi controler. I'm going to buy vestax vci-100, which is similar to vcm, but have platters like cd-player.

I have question - is this Stanton Da Scratch is similar to VCI-100? I mean - can you also plug this guy to PC, and play like normal CD player?

Please - make some video, where you test this kit. I wonder how it work's, before i spend my salary for that kit :D

    Greetings.

  • you only need one SCS3d da scratch to control two decks. This controller is layerable so way more advanced than you might first think. This means it has instant recall on the fly. pushing deck select would instantly recall the opposite deck and all its settings. Feedback is given by all the corresponding lights and leds to show where eq, fx level settings are etc.

  • that's a nice bit of kit it look quite compact,

not a big fan of stanton stuff but i like some of there newer stuff that looks like a lot of fun.

    keep it j

    nice one!!
