Which soundcard do you use with the scs 3m to monitor your tracks ? I want to buy a behringer UCA 202 or the new one UFA 202 but I don't know if those are compatibles.
This thing is a total piece of shit, got it probably 5 days ago and it doesn't work right with anything but traktor studio or serato and Stanton expects you to buy bomes midi translator to program your own shit which is borderline fucking impossible. It is the worst $200 i ever spent and am returning the shit out of it immediately.
Let me tell you all that the DaScratch is the best midi controller available today. i have replaced two decks and a mixer with one small device that allows me to play outside and mix in ways that turntables won't allow. Don't bother getting anything else!! Take a look at my page and you'll see just what I mean.
it's actually hard to believe how good the 3d is till you get to use one. I'm even doing beat juggles mixed with cue triggering now. i get amazed daily. Ya'll might want to remember how clubs felt about replacing bands with some guy playing records. I have/had all the midi controllers out there, and the DaScratch kills 'em all no contest.
CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG, but in Traktor scratch pro you can controll the pitch on youre decks so you dont really need a pitch control, other wise you do need a midi controller to do precise controlling but I dont trust stanton, as I have many gear from them and their not reliable at all...
since its called da scratch hopefully i can see some major scratching or minor good price too $250 bucks for a middi but it seems one would buy two instead of one
Nice, I am think of adding a piece of midi equipment to my setup. BTW, ellaskins, what's up with your djtutor site these days, its often unreachable. Lots of traffic I guess...
Jonnathan - you made some video long time ago about vestax vcm-100. It's midi controler. I'm going to buy vestax vci-100, which is similar to vcm, but have platters like cd-player.
I have question - is this Stanton Da Scratch is similar to VCI-100? I mean - can you also plug this guy to PC, and play like normal CD player?
Please - make some video, where you test this kit. I wonder how it work's, before i spend my salary for that kit :D
you only need one SCS3d da scratch to control two decks. This controller is layerable so way more advanced than you might first think. This means it has instant recall on the fly. pushing deck select would instantly recall the opposite deck and all its settings. Feedback is given by all the corresponding lights and leds to show where eq, fx level settings are etc.

@astraltrancer303 what did you try syncing it with?
Vespyro 1 year ago
does it have a built in soundcard?
how are you able to cue the other deck wihout revealing out the sound?
is it compatible with virtual dj?
nobody has been able to answer these questions!! not even stanton people!!
alwaysmad2002 2 years ago
it's just a controler, the same way you can use a keyboard to control synths on your comp.

They say this works with Ableton live. I'd love to see a video on that.

I'm sure it's not hard to customize it with the software that comes with it.
