Countries like Libya or Tunisia get no input in the discussion. The UN is supposed to be for world peace and equality but it's absolutely meaningless. If he felt this strongly *while* these alleged "unchecked" wars were going on, then he should have (and could have) shown up to voice is opinion at the UN while it was happening rather than after the fact. What right does he have to complain if he never went to a meeting? We're talking roughly 40 years of no-shows.

It's mostly about the weaker nations in the UN, mostly located in Africa and Eastern Asia. Maybe Gaddafi never showed up to the UN meetings because he understood that the US will do whatever we want no matter what he said. He's complaining about the rules, the process, and the unfairness toward the leaders that have to travel 20 hours to attend a meeting.

@MarceloRodrigues1 it really makes you go hmmmm, people have to understand that democracy is not for everybody, now i know momar is not a good guy and he didnt really treat his people so great but trust me the next guy may be far worst then him,look at egypt they got mubarak out and now the military runs the country, wich makes it a military state, is that better then hat they had ? thiese people need to think, they claim they want freedom but freedom is not free.

no egypt already was a military state with Mubarak as civilian president, now that he is gone it is purely a military state while they wait for elections.
it is basically the same as america as the military is the most important thing in the country.

What I was saying is I understand very well their problems that western countries kept running by corrupting most of them. And I understand very well resistance like Gaddafi stands for. I was saying I understand (even if dont agree with massacre) his choice of policy

I don't see guys like Sarkozy or Obama stand the way he does in order to preserve his country's history, culture, economy etc... They would hide and save their asses. Go Gaddafi! You probably won't see a revolution in Saudi Arabia, because it's under Washington's and London's control, all the propaganda about the bombing of civilians in Libya, I do not believe. When Libya becomes democratic, the american and western companies will come along and suck out all the oil. A great revolution is needed, but in London and Washington!
