  • How big are these chutes when folded??

Do you still sell these things??

  • @MrJasperDaniel Thanks for the interest. Yes, I still make the parachutes. If you visit my webpage under the blogs section, there is additional information. The size when folded, depends on how you fold them. About the size of a deck of playing cards. Maybe a little thicker. Cheers!

  • @SteveieRay98 An edge serging machine is used. You can pick up a decent used one for about $400.00. They are useful, but only for that type of stitch.

  • Do you have a 2.4 ghz transmitter or a standard 72 mhz 6-channel?

  • 72 Mhz 7 Channel. I am in the market for a new 2.4 Ghz, but need to determine if it will work with my 2.4 ghz video transmitter or if I will have to change that.

  • i love this video

  • Thanks for the kind words.

  • clumsy boy not included.... HAHAHAHA

    great video

  • oo ok nvm i just read the begginning lolz.

  • i mean camera on the parachute

  • i like this vid :) but im still with the mini planes so this might be a little heavy

  • thats sooooooo cool ow do you get the parachuter to fall off? nice video

  • i gotta get one of these.

  • i wish my park was that calm.we always have at least 10 mph winds

  • sweet! i havent even got a plane yet, but when i get one and get upgrades, this is the first thing i will get! thanks man. Ill be back.

  • Sounds good. Thanks and have fun!

  • u can make one for plane

when ur engine dies or anything bad happens u can just put it on and glide down safely like a pilot but u need a bigger one for sure

  • When your engine quits you glide down and land then restart it,you would probly end up in a tree with a deployed chute since you would have almost no control

  • servo problems or any broken parts in air results heavy impacts on ground if u lose control of plane u can put it on i kno u wont have any control but atleast it ll be down with no impact even if it gets stcu on a tree u can still get it down somehow!!it doesnt have to be perfect!!it just can do wat it should be put the plane down with no damage!

  • Hello again. I no longer have a plane rigged that way. Basically, it will look the same as the one in my video, except the drop mechanism will not actuate until the servo has reached its full movement. I would also be sure to use a slightly stronger servo than the normal HS-55's that I use. This way there are not additional torque issues. Maybe time to upgrade the radio =). Cheers.

  • Another channel is the easiest, but you can add a linkage that trips the mechanism, when you go full up elevator for example. You would take off and use gradual elevator input until you made the drop. I have done this sort of thing in the past. Cheers.

  • Sounds great. Take a look into my YouTube folder and you will see a video explanation of my simple drop mechanism.

  • This looks really cool.. could you tell me how much you sell them for? and what camera were you using to film that footage on the plane?

  • zim9792. Thanks for the kind words. I sell the chutes for $20.00 shipping included to the US and $25.00 for International. I was using the Canon SD200 digital on that video. I also use the SD450 from time to time. Drop me a PM if you are interested in a chute.

  • Really nice... I'm checking out your website.. I like your videos, all great!

  • Thanks Bong. Enjoy!

  • nice, I'd love to see the possibility of attaching multiple ones, so it'd look just like a real paratrooper scene with several dropping at a time
