It looks pretty metal like to me, and I think that in japan any modelgun that has an outer body of metal is required by law to be painted or plated a yellow or golden color. I think it looks pretty bad ass for a toy, mostly because nobody would dare do this to a real luger. I have my grandfathers luger that served him in the great world war one, and I agree that I like the real finish way more. this is still kind of fun, hell id buy one.
