for my opinion, cod 4 and cod:mw2 are the best. cod1 is great because it not a another MOH game, cod2 is just not bad because it on both the xbox 360 and pc. But the pc version is the best , cod 3 is just as good, cod 4 is leganery for both single and mulitplayer, cod 5 is the last of the ww2 seting, cod:mw2 is great, but for black ops it great but the story was werid. I think cod is the king of fps games period. :)
