@jimmyggh1 I've never found a pocket they fit in, even on BDU. Maybe my pants are tiny? Clearly, Big Army considers it a Graphic Training Aid, so it just has to work in a classroom. Too bad.
i do the toltal oppisite i put the right side of the protractor on the point the wherever the grid spare is on the map on the left side we get the other 2 coordinates by the number at the bottom is that any diffrent from what u just did
Why did you take a vertical reading from the top line instead of the bottom line? I thought everything went left to right and bottom to top. I believe the reading for easting is correct of 375, but the reading for northing is wrong. Correct me if I am wrong.
@cassidykk Huh... I was taught this, and just don't use the protractor much, so hadn't noticed until you said it, and I grabbed a map and did the logic. Yup, it's wrong. Drat.
I'll add a note momentarily to the video, since I'll be traveling for a while and won't be able to do videos and stuff.
Best place to get protractors is surplus stores. They are really cheap then, and if you have watched this, you know if the one you are getting is broken or not.
Else, they are readily available. Just google "Military Protractor." They are about $3-10 online, but you have to pay to ship it then.
Great explanation of it's use also!

Fits great in your cargo pocket, or in the "map flap" on your ALICE pack. Theses were made pre-MOLLE (and yes, the military does need to upgrade)

@Sgtturtle22 Not sure I followed this right. Can you show me a photo or something? I don't want to mislead everyone more than I already am :)
