Can you list the parts you have an your paintball gun? i want to make mine look exactly like yours. BTW i can't see the first video on how to remove the carrying handle.
You will save yourself heaps of grief with the filing by using a vice. Also you can stick down you sandpaper with contact adhesive to glass or another known flat surface. Then rub it up and down along the abrasive. It called lapping. We do it in woodworking to flatten the soles of metal planes. Same techniques is applicable here. good mod though.
How long is yours? I want to make sure I cover as much surface area as possible. I'm thinking of trying this out but I don't want to paint it right away. Thanks for the info/help.
The scope isn't for me to use. I have a camera in front of it and it will offer a "call of Duty" style camera angle that i am excited to share, once i get a good day to go paintballing.
And as for the red dot, it's more for the camera angle than anything else. I would need an offset mount if i wanted to look through it comfortably in a game.
I love the video man, I found it on Alphablackforum, I would love to do this to my marker, but to be honest, I dont want to ruin it and the fear of that happening turns me away from modding it
Heh, that's what i felt about it at first too. Then i started going out on the fields, and i manhandled the crap outta the AB. I dropped it, knocked it against trees, got it covered in mud, dirt and water. After those beatings, I knew it would take a lot to screw up the marker.
But yea, don't do it if you don't feel 100% comfortable with it.

heh, I don't want to be another borg per say, cause he's a real metal worker and i wouldnt be able to do half the stuff he can with his access to machinery.
This was just a personal mod i did cause i like many other players prefer the AB without carry handle and decided to make a video about it since i havnt seen it up yet.
what the heck, i posted a reply and i guess it failed to go through... anyway... to answer both your questions, the last shroud I bought on ebay. It was literally just a shroud with no components to attach it to a barrel. So i had to get all the parts separately between ebay, Rap4, and overstock.
All together, i spent about just under 80 for all the parts.
The barrel is just a regular barrel with threads at the end which goes with the threaded apex found at Rap4.
I think that in order not to cut nor sand; I decided to get a sierra one; or did I just failed on that?

where the big hole is, i didn't drlll any holes. i just fastened it with a bolt it kept it in place.

how long is what? the rails? I put two rails on top, each one is 3 and 3/4" long. I hope this answers your question.
