I actually think drummania is the hardest to learn of the BEMANI games. Aside from the DEAD KEYBOARDMANIA & to some extent MAMBO A GOGO games, it's the only one that's an actual musical instrument simulator. IIDX and pop'n I got a hang of the buttons but holding 2 sticks and repeated hitting cymbals, or hi hats, or low toms, etc, I'm not a drummer at all.

Um I really encourage you to try it on a real drum with your own beats because from what I heard from the original song, there are alot of missing beats in the Percussion Freaks/ Drummania. But it's not so bad it's decent.
my old set that I used to play this kicked the bucket not too long ago, I think I mentioned something about my triggerboard in previous comments but. If anyone is wondering which set was used it was a ION iED01 drumset that I bought used. They have newer revisions of the set out now so I can't for sure recommend it or not, but the one I have has had a lot of problems :/ If you're learning drums/ into drums i'd reccomend a DTXplorer though, GREAT set and works for this game.
Oh I have a DTX Explorer and a Ronal V-DRUM. I used to play drummania songs until I completed the hard ones. So I got board and left them. I now make some drum songs with my friends but drummania taught me a lot. Anyway nice vid and if you have improved them Great.
My set was about $250 - 300. A DTX runs for about 600 - 800 from what ive seen. Although also ive heard the DJ DAO drum mania controller is really good as well. I haven't had solid reviews for the DAO though. Your best bet if you're serious about buying a real set and one that works for the game is a DTX though hands down.
I need to find a better way to play, its not practice as much as it is just getting my trigger board to work correctly. Theres a lot of sensors that go off automatically when the set vibrates as well as if theres a lot going off the board will just temporarily turn off certain functions.
Not to mention this was a year ago that it was recorded, I think I did god awful too, im amazed it had this many views. Which is the only reason I didn't take it off.
Relax man your freiggin awesome at this game i myself have never passed dragonblade on EX but i prefer daydream instead there both similair although dragonblade has more notes.
