Robert Trujillo doesn't fit in with Metallica IMO. He seems way more at home with Ozzy or Black Label Society. Every interaction between him and the other guys feels like his first audition for the band.

And the rest of the band always overdoes it with their praise for him. Partly to make themselves look better since it is universally known how much shit they gave Newsted.

I prefer Jason to Rob AND Cliff, even though Cliff wrote some of the best ever Metal songs ever.. he was sloppy and there's no question on that. jason's every performace to me was kick fucking ass. His growls made the energy of Metallica live so perfect to be more than perfect. It made them aggressive enough to stand and adore, unlike Slipknot and most new bands.

I'm definitely musically inclined to. Of course the band plays a big part in a bands success, but you let a band have a really shitty singer and see if they get anywhere.
