  • You know what's funny is that in our Evangelism Christianity, we don't believe in baptizing our infants, until they're old enough to know what's right & wrong.

  • 2:04 lmao

  • ENOUGH ARGUING! Focus on the funny stuff. For instance, Archie: " I wouldn't disgrace the name of baptism by talking about it in front of an athiest!" Mike *Walks in door*: "Hi everybody." Archie: "Listen you athiest, i want that kid baptized!" You gotta admit that's pretty funny.

  • @TheVaporeonrules234

I will admit it is pretty funny!

  • I used to watch this show when it came on Nick at Night but then they took it off but i found it again and i totally forgot how funny it was. Gosh i miss this show

  • I have to admit, Archie is right about how annoying it is to ask for permission about everything! NOT what Archie was talking about, and voting for, just in general for life.

  • You found Mike's parents died before this, when they talk about the wedding flash back and his uncle. Mike's parents died when he was very young in an auto accident.

  • 3 halves of bunker blood , hahaha :D

  • @TheWhitevoices when the vaccine against stupidity comes out please get it

  • @misteeq64 To quote Ron White: "You can't fix stupid"

  • Archie had some great lines in this episode lol.

"You can pray so much to God and it stops being praying it becomes nagging"

"You got to use force , it's the Christian way"

"The hell with poor my head hurts!"

To Rev. Chong - "We want a Christian baptism, it can't have any dragons or fireworks or anything like that."

  • the hell with the poor haha

  • I don't know what the actual statistics are, but I've read that approximately 400,000 children A YEAR a kidnapped in the U.S. and are never found. Rarely do they cover these topics in the news. Whoever is doing the kidnapping, it has to stop.

  • :/ left the baby outside on the porch?

  • I heard they actually came out with a Joey Stivic doll in 1976

  • He really plowed into that window-frame, didnt he?

  • The Canadian woods are fulla mo's!

  • what terrible parents they left the baby on the front porch and walked away ahhaha

  • Archie never fails to continually share his abject stupidity with one and all--"the hair of the mo"---geez.... In reality, his butt would have been kicked each and every day. Long live Archie!

  • . . . a fig newton. LMFAO!

  • One nugget of truth at 4:10: "You've got to use force. That's the Christian way!"

  • I wonder if Paul K Jetty is related to Piers Anthony.

  • Gee, he tore his mole hill jacket.

  • In this episode, I found out why you never see Mike's parents, they're DEAD. But I bet they would have wanted Joey baptized too, because Mike was baptized but said that he renounced his baptism.

  • @pytko3 yeah mike parents were from poland and catholics they sent him to catholic school

one thing though they never siad how they died

  • Yeah, you never find out how they died. If they were alive, I'm sure they'd be on Archie's side to have Joey baptized and frankly, I think they'd be outraged at Mike for renouncing his own baptism.

  • @pytko3 This is the old Religious custom there, for bringing people around. all your ancient people threw rocks untill they got axes and spears and then guns to do gods work.

rofl . Archie just gave a good case for atheism,

  • @pytko3

maybe they live in poland :)

  • @pytko3

Just because they had their son baptized, does not mean that they would condone forcing baptism on anyone else's child including their own son's. They might have even supported Mikes decision to renounce his baptism is that is what he really wanted.

  • @pytko3 Did we forget that these are fictional characters.

  • @pytko3 you actually find that out in season one.

  • @BlameRepublicans Yeah, I know. Micheal's parents died in a car accident when he was very young and after that, he was raised by his uncle who now works as a florist and Archie said that a florist is no job for a man.

  • @pytko3

In my opinion, the notion that a florist is not a job for a man is a very ignorant notion. I am a man and I have a lot of appreciation for flowers and plants! But I guess that everyone has a right to voice his or her opinion. This is America!

  • @pytko3

They said Mike's parents died in season 3, in the Flash Back"The Wedding".

  • Baptism....the perfect crime! LOL!

  • Most telling line in the episode: "You've got to use force. That's the Christian way."

  • Promotin a fashion show for winos!!!

  • Mohair.

  • "Why not daddy? Don't you wanna help the poor?"

"The hell with the poor, my head hurts!"

    All hail Archie Bunker!

  • "What do ya want me to do, get ate by a lion, like they used to do in the LA Memorial Coliseum, there?"

  • Archie has a good memory. He remembers how to get to church, where he hasn't been for twenty years.

  • The strangest irony of this episode, as great and funny as it is, is that a lot of people sided with Archie on this issue. Yet, they somehow seemed to forget what happens when it's over. Archie looks up to God and says, "I hope that took, Lord...because...they're gonna kill me when I get home."

  • Okay I wouldn't leave my baby on the porch even if it is my parent's home.

  • i thought i was the only one that noticed that!!!!

  • A child is more likely to be killed playing football or in an equestrian accident than to be abducted. Also consider this, it's the 70s and they're in fucking Queens. That's statistics. Don't be an idiot.

  • most kidnapped children are kidnapped by parents in divorce situations. Few are kidnapped by pedophiles.

  • @Srd1126 That's simply not true. Most children who are kidnapped are never heard from or seen again.

  • @TJWhitewolf don't know where you are basing your facts, but if you read up on it most children that are kidnapped are taken by family members-this is a reason why a stranger kidnapping a child makes the news, it is unusual. Most molested children are also molested by family members and not "the guy in the park."

  • Sale! Mohair jackets 1/2 off.

  • Throwing rocks is an age-old religious custom. Hence, 'You are Peter, the rock upon which I build my church.'

  • @DiAnno13 Actually the "rock" is Jesus and he is the rock of the Church as well as the head.

The scripture you referenced, that has nothing to do with religious custom.

  • they dragged them out of the trees and right down to the river LOL

  • Archie: a four letter word for insect - flea - flee!

Archie: What are you doing with all that stuff (old clothes for church charity drive)? Promoting a fashion show for winos?

    LOL @ Archie!

  • Archie: The hell with the poor, my head hurts.

    Thanks for uploading this episode.

  • Archie: You gotta use force, that's the christian way!

    Thnaks, m!
