@genebertoncini I don't remember hearing anything like this at Bates College (Lewiston Maine) ;-) Do you recall that show? All I really recall was this "kid," on bass and your fingers "flying," all over the fretboard. I LOVED IT! Finger picking (Like Joe Pass) jazz. Good times. :D
BTW, loved your new CD with strings. Have you posted any cuts from that? I'm listening to it right now. Also, any way to get some of your arrangements? Any plans to release them?
The greatest finger style guitarist on the planet. I own every recording you've made including the awesome duets with Bobby Rogers and the work with Paul Winter Consort. Hope you'll decide to publish some of your arrangements in a collection.
Thank you Gene for continuing to make the music that makes me smile and cry. I was a friend of Loonis McGlohon's and enjoyed your visit to UNC-Charlotte. I hope you will return again. P.S. Still trying to find "Bridges" on CD.
Gene, I saw you with my father at the Little Theatre in Rochester a few years ago. You were wonderful and I've since enjoyed your music. Your cover of Emily is especially beautiful.
Glad to find you on this site. Really enjoyed our evening with you at La Madeleine in New York City with Bill and friends. When are you coming to Toronto??!!
This man is incredible...I heard one of his pieces on WDCB radio in Chicago and have not been able to find a copy of his album anywhere...I hope to hear a lot more from him sometime soon.
Could someone please tell me the name of the tune? O_o

Not only as a musician but as a human being.
In a highly competitive world, Gene shines with his brilliant musicianship. He keeps his eye on the music, with humility and ability to love.
