You really need mind control you can easily get rid of any monster they have by taking control then using it for ritual or synchro so many possible ways to use mind control in a relinquished deck.

@yue12321 First off, T-Roar is more live than you think seeing how people would rather MST the monster I absorbed rather than the set cards which makes it more surprising. As for Mind Control, it actually sucks for this deck even if it's for Synchros (which I really don't like/care about using) or Exceeds. By the way, Ritual Summons are technically tributing, so Mind Controlled monsters cannot be used with Rituals. >_>

@gamerman2934 Yea a card that can pull out an instant rank 3 xyz such as a 2500 atk beatstick or a monster that can summon a lvl 4 or lower banished monster, from either player's banished zone. That is pretty damn overrated.

If you use preperation of rites, you HAVE to have a ritual card in your grave, the monster is optional. I know you probably already know this, but it sounded like you thought it was the other way around :P

@WarLycan36 took me a while to kinda understand y ur against it (morphing jar, card distruction, and gota have an empty field, etc...). Another thing, I know that u top 4 with this deck, and saw some of ur tacktics on the duel with the dandy deck, but idk if this deck can actually go up against metas. The dandy match hardly shows how ur deck would do in a tournament, but id totally build it as a fun deck just to annoy my friends. ;)

@gamemasterwar Well, a lot of things changed between that dandywarrior match and even my Top 4 placement. This meta is definitely a lot different than it has been one year ago, but it's that challenge of the meta vs rogue that has me continually using Relinquished and similar rogue decks. Anyone can accomplish great things with a meta deck, but it's those that choose to stand against the trend of the meta and defy it all to begin with that has their voices heard by many more people.

@TheChrisCaine It's nice, but I only need to mill for so much hence the 1 Ryko. If Avarice was at 2, then Trooper would definitely been a consideration, but I can't risk milling so much that it'll end up biting me in the ass in the long run.

Much to my dismay I won't be able to use TGUs with Relinquished outside of Dueling Network (though in the slots I'm leaning towards a pair of Lava Golem/Volcanic Queen at the moment). For the side I agree with a couple other people that Kycoo is a solid choice, Smashing Ground is looking pretty good too for any deck that hates TKing and Crevice into the DD is a card I'm liking at the moment in my TG Agents deck and I think it could be helpful here.

The way you use, "Safe Zone," is kind of the way people use to use a card called, "Pole Position," back in the day.
