@devilsoe When was the last time anything positive has come out of Communist China? No human right, no freedom of speech, oppression of the Chinese people. The Chinese people, MY people, deserve much better than this.
@AndroidGZS Have you been to China? Are you Chinese? Do you have any idea what the Chinese government hides from its people? Yes there are defect with Western governments, but certainly praising the Communist pigs doesn't make it any righter.
@Anonymous52550 i have been to china yes, in fact ive lived there for quite some time, but what the west says about china is greatly exaggerated (im talking about the negative things). What about you? have you lived there for at least 10 years?
@AndroidGZS I was born in Taiwan and raised in Mainland China. I can still remember the stark differences of the rural and industrial areas. You say that what is going on in China is greatly exaggerated, have you been to the rural areas? Have you bothered to look behind the gleaming Shanghai skyline and take a peek at the slums? The social injustice and ignorance to the corruption is evident every where. You have seen what they want you to see, but their lies keep you from looking any further.
@Anonymous52550 I lived in Guilin not Shanghai... and went to LongSheng rice fields. does that count as rural? All im trying to do is to appreciate this wonderful country and not focus on the negative criticism on china. Like with your girlfriend, there are bad things about her and she makes mistakes, but in the end you only love whats good about her and focus on the good things right?
@AndroidGZS I was using Shanghai as a comparison. You shouldn't just focus on the good and ignore the bad, because that's just plain ignorance. Sure I appreciate my wife for who she is, but China is not my wife. It's a country filled with people, my people, who are suffering and are being lied to, and yet they still blindly follow the CP to the very edge of the cliff. I want the very best for my people, I want for them to be able to choose for themselves their future and not submissively follow.
@Anonymous52550 I was using love life as a comparison as well. It is sad today but ignorance runs through everybody. Do you focus the negative things about Taiwan? About US (there are certainly many about US). I dont like CCP but i dont hate. Even though what it has done to its people, CCP contributed largely to china's economy (which in my opinion is one the best things about china) and it's identity. It's what got rid of the blood sucking foreigners, and become the great country it is today.
@AndroidGZS Of course there are problems with Taiwan and the US, but the US is the least of my concerns and Taiwan's problems counts as a part of China's problems. The CP developed the Chinese economy so it can maintain its hold on its people. It's very much in control of the Chinese economy. Able to manipulate it however they want. Its not a free economy, the Chinese people have no control over it, they invest in it, but the CP and select foreigners control it.
@AndroidGZS We're not criticizing China, we're criticizing the social problems in China caused by the neglect of the Communist Party. We're trying to end the One Party Rule in the Mainland and establish a democratic government where the Chinese people get to choose the direction they will take. But of course, NTD can be a bit more specific at times.
While the mainland and Taiwan share a common ethnicity, that's pretty much all they share. Taiwan has prospered, developed a very separate culture and a far more liberal way of life. Who would give all that up to a corrupt communist regime simply for the sake of a reunification that can only benefit China's new Han "dynasty"?
@scorpiooooooh if china has Unification with taiwan. taiwan probably won't lose most of its rights. like hong kong they're septerated but still united. i see only a military Unification which in my opinion is a good thing for taiwan since they don't have to spend money to buy weapons which could be used on natural disasters. which happens atleast once every year and always kills people and destory homes.
