Its really not bad at all :). The main reason for the tuning slips is that you are understandably worried about the bow. What would improve this no end would be simply to take a few deep breaths before you begin and slow it down by a good 20 metronome marks and try to relax as much as possible. Dont worry about the bow, instead try to concentrate on bringing out the phrasing and melody, and you will naturally relax into it and the bowing will be easier to achieve.
hi, im glad that i can see people play this piece, but you can correct your hand not dragging, but by digging your right hand into the bow, thus making you hand look like a crow's foot.
Practice one of the Kreutzer exercises that has you use full bow - do it slowly in front of a mirror and keep your right elbow at a 90 degree angle to your body as you do it. After it becomes natural try this one the same way.
Congratulations on your determination to learn such a hard instrument. I just bought my first violin at 34 years old and signed up for lessons starting next month. Keep uo the good work and please more inspiring videos
in oppose to your comment I should say that his bow-arm is very relax and his string crossing is actually good and it is NOT creating any choked sound or what so ever...but I agree witht he intonation part

I agree with lordnifield.
I don't know how long you've been playing, so I'm guessing you already know your wrist(s) are tight. Good job, good luck, and keep practicing!

his bow hand is stiff because his elbow should be higher so he dosent lead with the wrist but the fingers!

I've been playing the violin for 6 yrs... great song but you need intonation; listen to the sound, its very off-tune.
