A woman running for the position of Vice President of the United States is not historically significant unless she wins. Ever heard of Geraldine Ferraro? She was Mondale's running mate in 1984. Palin is by no means the first woman in her position. Barrak Obama IS the first black man in his position, so yes, it is historically significant. The next time a black man wins his party's nomination, it will not be.
McCain was one of the most responsible for Bush to still be in office, and look at what he's done... yea...
His whole campaign is ran by 2 lobbists... lobbists, it's just a race that the republican party has been running since nixon. By any means necessary. Obama is the change America as a country needs, he's not perfect, but we as Americans need a leader, not another Bush.
If you took politics out of all of this? Are you serious? Without the politics they would just be two random jackasses that no one would give a crap about.
Latest cbs poll has Obama +5 points. Darn economy if we could just make this about seeming folksy and down to earth. Or maybe we can make it about being POW. Why on earth does it have to be about the issues?
Yeah like Obama getting 120,000 in contributions from Fannie Mae. Let's talk about that issue. We've been talking about it... why don't the dems want to talk about it? The Dems were paid off to look the other way and the mess we are in now is a result of that.
Warren Buffett predicted Obama will win by a landslide. Rupert Murdoch too. I voted for Bush in 2004 specially since I worked in the defense industry. But after seeing my 401k dropped 10% this week, I don't think many people is happy specially those not affiliated(not from the republican or democrat base)which their top priority is the economy and money.
He is so right. Obama has been the only one that has raised the issue of black! If someone on the right had said antything like that they would sailed down the river as a racist and a bigot.
Yeah here in Ohio (americas armpit) Our govornor Ted Strickland is blaming the fact that Barack Obama is losing in Ohio because southern Ohioans won't vote for Obama because he is black. He in a speech pleaded for southern white ohioans to vote for the economic interests and support Obama. The problem Strickland dosen't see is they are voting for their interests and they don't want their taxes raised. But still the dems are pushing the assumption that if you don't vote for Obama you are racist.
Nobody on the Right has made an issue of Race, much to Obama and the Dem's regret. They've been waiting eagerly for the first hint of Race so they can scream "racism"; bet your paycheck they've got an entire set of ads and talking points ready to release.
But the Right hasn't raised the issue! So (sigh), the Dems will just have to raise it themselves...while making it look like it's the Right that has raised it.
Yes, the race card is just too good for Obama not to use.
Are you a nutcase? you look like a terrorist/rapist...

Since the advent of Obama, and the repeated shoving of his race into our faces, I have personally declared the Race Card to be expired.
And cannot be renewed.
I, for one, am numb to it all. I simply don't care about his race, one way or another. And I no longer care if someone calls me racist.
I does not work, I deactivated my guilt button.
