I have no sides in the matter but if the ref does NOT say "fight" then you don't fight and that's what happened. Their should be a rematch. That's all there is to it. I agree you must protect yourself at all times but the rule says you do NOT start fighting until the ref says so. Otherwise why have a ref in the first place?

Look at the video I have posted in the description, although it will probably be taken down soon. The fighters then pounded gloves, but Ortiz was still trying to apologize to Mayweather. That loss was completely on Ortiz, and even in the post fight interview, he fully realized it.
