The 2008 Miss America Pageant was a great show this year. I was please with the elimination of fluff and the way they moved through the two hours with total substance. The lighting, music, set design etc was perfect. I did not like the fast pace for evening wear and was shocked that Miss Illinois did not make the finals. I give the show an A- to last year's C+.
