A heartfelt thank you for producing this. My childhood freinds and I literally grew up walking, running and biking to that lighthouse from our homes on Brooksdale Rd., in Mentor Headlands. I think 1 of us still lives there, but no matter we go, I know that all of them probably feel as I do. We live our lives relating what's happening to our shared context of memories we built up while combing that Lake Erie shore during all seasons of the year.

Very nice. Headlands is a beautiful beach. I was born and raised at Fairport Harbor, I loved growing up there. I have to say Lake Erie along Lakeshore Blvd. is still where my heart feels at home. I am now in Tennessee, as for the homeland? My heart will always be in "The Heartland"

and on a cold winter night here, I always remember MSB and play Lover.... No place on earth has been better then the years, growing up on Lake Erie....

These are amazing photos! I used to teach in Mentor (15 years ago). My favorite spot was the beach nearest to the lighthouse: the dunes, tall grass, and driftwood. This vid brought great memories!
