  • they have a reason to hit their animals. would you want the elephant to go crazy and kill everyone?

  • @Injaznito1 If I were an elephant I would do exactly what that elephant Tyson who went crazy in Hawaii did stomp on all the trainers who beat and abused me. Perhaps training a dog to do tricks is a little safer?? Do you agree? Elephants should not be HIT, they should simply not be used in CIRCUSES PERIOD.

  • All circuses are like this. Didn't believe in animal abuse because of PETA.

I mean there has to be a reason why animals do tricks. Yes my dog does small tricks but thats after soo many years living with us and getting all the love. I dont think a little pat on the head for an elephant will make it do all these tricks. There has to be some pain inflicted on them :( . Also an animal need not look frail and weak to show its going through suffering.

  • im sick of ppl saying not to go to the Circus cause animal abuse they do not abuse their animals!! and if you don't like it then guess what I WENT TO THEIR SHOW ON SATURDAY TAKE THAT PETA!!! XD and to all there animals rights activists outside i told them all to fuck off!! :P

  • @starcrazy6959

It is not only Peta that has eveidence of abuse but trainers and workers who USED to work for the circuses. Perhaps you should inform yourself a little more before making any comments. There are hidden cameras and gruesome evidence of the abuse that goes on, open your eyes.

  • Please don't support circuses that exploit and abuse animals. The circus animals' lives are miserable and horrific. Do a little research and you will see. Circuses that are animal-free are just as entertaining, if not more.

  • Seriously? -_- People are actually BELIEVEING PETA on this? My god you can't be serious Dx These are the people who wanted Obama charged with Animal Murder for swatting a fly on television! PETA kills thousands of animals anyway instead of trying to find them homes they just put them to sleep! Oh yeah, they really are role models arent they -_-

  • @MrMrMrprofessor They are serious, but I find it impossible to take them at all seriously.

  • @TheRealThreeP You and me both my friend, you and me both.

  • @MrMrMrprofessor Well it is not just PETA, the evidence is there. Perhaps you should visit the sanctuary in Tenessee with all the retired abused elephants that all have a sad past to tell. There is multiple hidden cameras that have caught the trainers abusing and beating the elephants. Also workers who used to work for them are coming out to tell the truth about what goes on behind the curtain. Please do not look at Peta as an excuse to not take heed of what is going on to those poor elephants.

  • @Smileyyy21 You should totally go! Cirque du soleil uses human talent versus animals. I'm a big fan.

  • Anyone who thinks they dont abuse elephants type in "Barnum Bailey Abuse" in You Tube search and watch the first 2 videos.(If you still defend them then something is wrong with your weak mind)

They use bull hooks to repeatedly gouge and slash the elephants. There was a special on this abuse and apparently Barnum and Bailey are notorius for this abuse. Fuck Barnum and Bailey.

  • Attention PETAphiles: These animals are well taken care of. From New York to OKC the circus train stops halfway for the elephants to stretch and get some R and R. Also, What you think is "beating" is not. Those hooks they use are guide hooks. They're dull and don't dig into the skin. I work around Elephants at my local zoo. Further to note: If you let THESE elephants go in the wild they will die. They're too reliable on people. PETAphiles, PLEASE go fuck yourself.

  • @PJD1987

Animals at the zoo are treated differently than animals at the circus. There, they aren't expected to jump through rings of fire, stand on their hind legs, or do other extremely unnatural tricks. You have to instill fear in the animals in order to do that. There are videos that show this beating going on; there are quotes from former circus workers.

  • @PJD1987

"If you let THESE elephants go in the wild they will die."

How about we don't take them out of the wild?In the year 2000, 64 free-roaming female elephants were killed by poachers so that their babies could be rounded up and sold to the entertainment industry. Even though the trade is illegal, it continues. For elephants currently in circuses, there are sanctuaries all around the world specifically for elephants liberated from circuses.

  • Comment removed

  • @PJD1987 I'm sorry if you love the circus, but you're funding animal cruelty each time you go. I understand it's hard to accept, but it's the truth. Please, please, if you care about animals at all, don't go to circuses. This information isn't coming from people who are just trying to ruin your good time, this is coming from people who have done research and who know and care deeply about animals. These are the facts, and I hope you won't choose to ignore them.

  • @swimmer24100 YOU are a lost cause. Keep eating the lies that you're being fed by the Pussies at PETA. I'm off to get a hamburge

  • @PJD1987

What part of what I just said was a lie? Please explain.

  • Go ringling bros!

  • I realize why many of you don't want to admit it to yourself... that's completely understandable. But the fact is, every time you visit the circus you are supporting animal cruelty. Please, we have the power to stop this. Boycott circuses!

  • wait im confused... where does the abuse happen in the video... i didnt see anything. i missed it

  • They do not use a rubber hook! I have held these hooks on numerous occassions. Its sad that you support animal cruelty. Really sad. I hope you dont have children

  • I miss this night :( I remember it even though it's 3 years old.

  • 10 Cruel Things Ringling Does To Its Elephants

  • Just go to a animal free circus!

  • Actually the Ringling college of clowns was closed down in the 90s due to a lack on interest. Read on Wikipedia. I saw them myself beating elephants last night during the elephant walk in Los Angeles. I saw FIRST HAND them beating elephants! Google it!

  • @MegganAnderson You can't base all you're facts on Google. They don't even support Veterans.

  • @MegganAnderson Just like Christmas isn't about Santa, Ringling Brothers isn't about animal abuse.

  • @MegganAnderson And really i don't care about how you saw them "beating" them because the most likely case is that they were moving their elephants along with a rubber hook, and yes they use a rubber hook on some animals in the circus. My only question is why is peta on looking at Elephants in Ringling Brothers? There are other animals in their circus.

  • @MegganAnderson You're talking about the rubbing hooks they use to move them along? That is different then beating....

  • No one should listen to the ramblings of the mad man..circusboy. He sounds like a paid mouthpiece, who simply has no understanding about animal abuse. Like the goons of big oil, he only cares about his bottom line, and that is being right. Personally I would prefer to be wrong, then to know that Ringling an other heartless organizations abuse animals for the purpose of turning a profit!

  • @thedevilsdaughter65 really heartless orginzations ??? wow talk about out of left field and uniformed > I can tell your at the end of your logical arguements as you have resorted to your alternative which is slinging insults. I have not worked in a circus in many years and recieve no compensation for defending an 140 year old institution that is part of the american experience of freedom and sovereignty. got another bombshell for you too sir. (used very loosely.)

  • @thedevilsdaughter65 again circus is not primarily about profit that's just away to propel a lifestyle that stems from early times of overcoming adveristy and taming the wild . true circus is as old as civilization and alway's involves animals, as we are the top of the food chain. That witness’s testimony was so full of holes that the judge actually used the word “demolished” to describe his credibility. Now these circus-haters are facing a federal lawsuit for their scheme. this is peta.

  • @redangel9271226 so you did not see beating on this video?? unless you've seen it with your own eyes you have no place to say anything. a few videos over 30 years does not prove anything.

  • @redangel9271226 yes but this is not ringling and also an isolated incidence.

  • When Elephants climb the food chain, then they can put humans in a circus at their bid. Until then, admire the fact they can at least have their trunks in the right place.

  • @SirGeorge53 When elephants climb the food chain?! How is that supposed to happen, exactly? (Recommended reading: Charles Darwin, The Origin of Species). And whilst elephants do not have a capacity to build circuses, they are highly intelligent and can express a range of other emotions including empathy and sadness. It is our duty as the most intelligent species not to use animals as though th

ey are toys to be played with. Mankind's abuse of animals is an ultimate misuse of power.

  • circuses.com...see how the circus really treats their animals.

  • GOOD FOR YOU HAPPYCOW145! please spread the awareness!

  • RINGLING BEATS THEIR ANIMALS!

  • Saw this tonight! at nutter center in dayton ohio! great it was wat bettter then this though,,

  • Barnum & Bailey...the CRUELEST SHOW ON EARTH!! Screw assholes who exploit animals for the sake of greenbacks!

  • DOWN WITH RINGLING BROS!!!!

  • I'm the husband and I disagree with you that the circus is no place for these exotic animals. They do not have to worry about disease, predators, starvation, drought, or loneliness. They always have a buddy and aree showered with affection. Not a bad life for an animal if you ask me. Funny that the animals have the lowest pressure gig on the train! :)

  • @vesperus1981 By who's standards? Human? do you think they really like being..fed? Cared for while they survive in their cage? Not a bad life for an animal. You sound like you are placing yourself as a human, above this..animal. Shame on you. They deserve to live free, to do the "elephant" thing. Not forced to perform cute little tricks for you and your kids. Open your eyes!

  • My husband works for barnum and bailey in their band, he has never seen animal abuse take place. We are both avid, practiciing christians. Obviously, life on the train is maybe not the best, but they do not abuse their animals! Most of the trainers etc. consider them their babies and would not hurt them intentionally by any means!

  • The fact of the matter is, elephants do not belong in circuses PERIOD. The very fact that you are hauling them around the country in shabby boxcars all year and teach them meaningless and confusing tricks for the sake of profit is animal abuse nonetheless.

All animal circuses are cruel, whether you and your husband claim otherwise or not.

  • @AlvinAndHobbes shabby boxcars?? you've never even been in these state of the art traincars. youdon't even know how many millions are spent on maintenance of these vehicle.s man really do'nt talk out of your ass about things you could not possible know the foggiest idea about.

  • @vesperus1981 what does Christianity have to do with this? Trying to validate your point, by saying you believe in god? If you believe in god, then you should realize that they belong as a god intended for them..in the wild. Does god want the owners to earn lot's of money too?Don't use Christianity as a tool of persuasion.

  • @thedevilsdaughter65 as the ones at the top of the food chain god intended us to be the masters of our domain, whatever we chose is natural.

  • I use to love them till I found out how they treat their animals, that's why one of the only circuses I like is cirque du soleil. No animals in that one.

  • wow I didn't know this stuff goes on I actually thought they get the best care!!! next time there is a circus here in portland Oregon Ill be standing out there and calling them out on the animal abuse!!!!!!!

  • @happycow145 You're from Oregon too? I agree that animals should be treated well, and I am sure that if there is abuse going on, it will stop, as the animal rights groups are having a field day with them. So yeah, I hope it all gets worked out. :)

  • Never train elephants with them. They abuse them and lead them to death

  • Eh wrong, no Elephant has died within the last 25 years in RB. the only reason they may have died is because of Old Age. They treat their elephants with care.

  • @BoomBoom79854363 Really?? Boy oh boy are you living in denial. Just because they have not had any fatalities, does not mean they are cared for properly. Besides, they belong in the wild, not forced to live in cages, and to perform on command, so someone can live their pockets with greenbacks.

  • @BoomBoom79854363 EH WRONG...Do your homework! In January 1998, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) charged Ringling Brothers with multiple violations of the Animal Welfare Act in connection with its decision to have a three-year old elephant named Kenny appear in three different shows in one day even though he was extremely ill and the attending veterinarian had advised that he remain in the barn. Within an hour of his last appearance in the circus, Kenny died.

  • @BoomBoom79854363 ....On July 26, 1999, a four-year old elephant named Benjamin died in a pond. Ringling Brothers elephant trainer Pat Harned took Benjamin and Shirley two baby elephants to swim in a pond one morning while the circus was on the road. Elephants are naturally excellent swimmers. When Pat Harned called for Shirley to come out of the water she obeyed, but when he told Benjamin to come out, he refused and kept on swimming.

  • @BoomBoom .Eye witness accounts reported that Pat Harned then went to the end of the pier and started hitting Benjamin with a bull hook, and that when Benjamin swam to the other end of the pond to escape,Harned went into the water after him with the bull hook in hand. Benjamin then had a heart attack and drowned. According to an official USDA Report, the trainers use of the bull hook created behavioral stress and trauma which precipitated in the physical harm and ultimate death of the animal.

  • @thedevilsdaughter65 its not the trainer's fault that the elephant wouldn't come out of the weter. and i've seen the bullhooks they use, they can not kill an elephant that easyly.

  • @BoomBoom79854363 That has nothing to do with my previous post. Whether or not the animal is killed, is beside the point. It is cruel..period. You stated that no elephant had ever dies. How come you didn't respond to that? Don't try to make it sound..okay..to keep these animals in captivity, and forced to perform little tricks to delight the kiddies. Hey, whips don't kill a child easily either, does that make it okay then?

  • @thedevilsdaughter65 who are your so called eye witnesses??

  • @BoomBoom79854363 On August 5, 2004, an eight-month old elephant named Ricardo died at Ringling Brothers breeding facility the Center for Elephant Conservation. Ringling Brothers claims that this young elephant fell off a tub while playing, broke both his legs, and had to be euthanized. These same tubs are used for many of the tricks the elephants are made to perform in the circus and it is likely that Ricardo was being trained to do these tricks (with a bull hook) when he fell.

  • @BoomBoom79854363 On August 11, 2005, an eleven-day old elephant named Bertha died during surgery on the floor of Ringling Brothers breeding facility. In sharp contrast to its usual practice, Ringling Brothers had not announced the birth of Bertha and her existence and death only came to light when animal groups submitted requests under the Freedom of Information Act to the USDA about Ringling.

  • @thedevilsdaughter65 ok if they did not announce anything how did the usda have any records for you to obtain??

  • @BoomBoom79854363 Seems to me, every thing you said was wrong.

  • Sir, or ma'am, Baby Barack was diagnosed with EEHV - a disease that is transmitted from African elephants to Asian elephants and has been known to be prevalent in zoos. Because Baby Barack WAS under close scrutiny and WAS treated with EXTREME CARE traveling with Ringling Bros., the trainers were able to identify the early-symptoms 2 WEEKS before BB could be fully diagnosed. Thus, he has a much higher chance of survival. The End.

Also, how do you feel about horse-back riding?

  • Ringling is the best! One day I am going to be an elephant trainer with them!

  • @retownsend a noble profession hope you make it sir.

  • It's good to see that so many are aware of maltreatment of the elephants. Patrons, particularly parents, please demand that Ringling and Barnum treat the animals that supply their livelihood with dignity and respect, or warn that you will boycott.

  • @nmal777 no mostly it's people with multiple accounts spreading lies and innuendo.

  • those elephants have such a sad life

  • @LightsNoise I know I'm debating on going to circus and I was looking at the alegria du soleil and I didn't see any animals I might be going to that one.

  • ii went to this exact circus at the prudential center

  • @videospy12 cussing is near as bad as murder. Well FUCK ALL!! I didn't know that..SHIT!

  • jaron61588 is a big fat idiot after i saw that comment i went to ring bros. and asked them they said ABSOLUTELY NOT and i beileive them not you so alot of you need to shut up and yes cussing is near as bad as murder

  • I saw them in St. Louis a week ago it was so cool

  • I remember going to this when I was 4.

    It was so cool.

  • its fun

  • 1. your idiot's for thinking that RB. abuses ther animals 2. they have the BIGEST Elephant Conservation Center in the WORLD so i don't think they ABUSE Elephants. 3. JARON you spelled my name wrong idiot

  • Ringling Bros should really shut down.abusing animals is awful and illegal.please stay away from animal circuses!

  • how can you say stay away from circuses if your screen name is circusjoy? lol

  • @circusjoy by definition you cannot have a circus without animals.

  • Wow Boom Bomm you got served. I looked up the video red said about and I am a guy but even i saw the abuse on that video. You cant lie about something that you are actually seeing with your own eyes! ROTLMAO...you truly are a stupid person....people who abuse animals WILL have to answer for that. And I cuss to and yeah its a sin BUT not as bad as abusing the animals.

  • that mouth around children?? wow. you know the bible also said not to cuss? ya sounds like you read it. good for u to take your childen to the circus and take them away from the fun... and how can you prove that a VIDEO is telling the trouth??? c.a.p. ( case and point )

  • @BoomBoom79854363 It doesn't say not to cuss, it only says not to say the lords name in vain.

  • Shut up i don't see them getting beat do you??? Oh oh oh walking them around a ring is beating them stop stop ya right. You obviously haven't read the bible. it doesnt say because you went to a circus your going to hell there for you will pay on judgment day. you ppl have no tast circus are for kids not 50 year old ppl that whine

  • It doesn't look very organized, nor does it seem of any interest.

  • i went to this show during april break it sucked balls i left in the middle of it

  • this guy under me is a fagggg

  • ur a fag to dickweed

  • Comment removed

  • you dont know what the hell you talking about.....the animals are not being abused....i went to this show and the closest an animal got to being 'whipped' was a horse and even then it didnt they crack the whip off to the side! they would never hurt an animal!!!!

  • They wouldn't hurt an animal where you can see it. Behind the scenes, undercover footage has been taped that shows elephants beaten with spiky hooks and shocked with electric prods, tigers dragged by heavy chains around their neck and hit with jagged sticks, cowering bears muzzled and leashed while being beaten, doves kicked around, and horses punched in the face. Primates are whacked with metal rods and outfitted with torture collars that deliver painful shocks.

  • Hahaha i hope you know that stuff is all lies dude they want you to think that! I think you must be dreaming. the only thing they would do that is close to that is, if an elephant goes on a rampage ,rope it down they wouldn't beat it or as you say drag them with heavy chains, hit them with sticks. dude your a totle idiot for beliveving that crap

  • @SonikkuForever uhh that's no . you've never been behind the scenes to know anyof this is not true.

  • looks pretty boring....

  • it is my uncle made me go to it it was the most gayest show in the world

  • The guy there messed up and many people made fun aat him and the he said thats not funny!!!!!

  • I was there that day!

  • Wow the ring leader has a great singing voice he was operatic that one concert. Mmmh, now I wonder what it would've sounded like in the Italian language with that that operatic singing.

  • soundas gr-8. I'm goign next Sunday.

  • In the 1920s my grandmother ran a boarding house for animal trainers. I've walked through the animal compounds at the Stockyard in Chicago. I've seen a horse with a broken back be treated like a baby rather than killed. A circus animal handler would be nuts to harm any animal. It's the life, their livelyhood and their family. They are not disconnected from their animals like the pitiful PETA people are.

  • Boycott circuses using animals. Like Desmond Morris said "The idea that it is funny to see wild animals coerced into acting like clumsy humans, or thrilling to see powerful beasts reduced to cringing cowards by a whipcracking trainer is primitive and medieval. It stems from the old idea that we are superior to other species and have the right to hold dominion over them."

  • Also, Ringling opposes a proposed U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) policy that states, "An ankus [bullhook] may not be used in an abusive manner that causes wounds or other injuries." If Ringling truly treats its animals humanely, then why oppose this policy?

  • Thats not the point, they shouldn't be in a giant fucking tent being forced to dance around un-naturally. Also I have seen behind-the-scenes of this particular cricus, and they used the bullhooks in such an aggressive way the elephant was bleeding.

  • @RunAwayWithYou incorrect I've been around for years and nothing ever happened like that, and if it did that person was fired. (maybe even worse)

  • BEST SHOW EVER!!!!!

  • Circuses are no fun for animals! Former Ringling employees who left the circus in 2006 and 2007 describe violent beatings and the routine abuse of elephants, horses, camels, and zebras. Please check out Cirque du Soleil and other cruelty-free circuses.

  • The animals are not abused; and former employees who were likely FIRED are liable to say anything. Why don't you attend a show, see it for yourself as opposed to watching PETA documentaries or going by heresay. I worked there before. I was with the animals everyday. If there is abuse occurring then their animal trainers are the world's greatest actors.

  • I have attended shows. The abuse doesn't happen in front of the public, but behind closed doors. As one elephant trainer explained, punishments must be severe because the elephants can't be hit in front of a thousand people.

I wish it were all heresay, but there are signed affidavits from former employees detailing abuses and video footage from 2001 to 2006 showing elephants being aggressively hooked. Ringling has repeatedly been cited for failing to comply with the Animal Welfare Act.

  • As I stated before, I worked there myself and have never ever witnessed any abuse. If I had, I can assure you I would have been the first and loudest whistle blower. There are various characters who come through Ringling Bros., which is common for most circuses and they are all known to say anything. This a company that has been around for nearly 140 years. You'd think by now, if such dirty deeds occur they would be out of business. No one or company is that good at hiding dirt.

  • Much of the abuse occurs during training. Circuses easily get away with routine abuse because no government agency or humane organization monitors training sessions.

As one who's worked with the circus, I imagine you're familiar with the bullhook and how it's used to punish elephants?

Also please remember there is video footage showing how Ringling treats its animals when the public isn't watching. You can do a Yahoo search for the video "Training Days at Ringling Bros." and see for yourself.

  • fool those are like from 5 years ago. i have yet to see some recent footage of elephants being abused. everyone is like "OMG YOU JUST DONT SEE THEM DO IT"

well the elephants are displayed 24/7 to the public when they are not in the show

the elephants are not beat when they are traveling

the only possible time they cld be hit is before the show which would be stupid because then the elephants would have scars on them so they obviously would not do that.

    get your facts straight foool

  • Michael02143 knows what he is talking about...

...He is educated on this subject....unlike some folk.

  • Again, you're basing your opinions on heresay and propaganda. I've seen the training sessions first hand. I've spent countless hours around the animals and their trainers and care takers. There is no abuse! Believe it or not, after 140 years, Ringling Bros. knows what they are doing. You seriously have to learn for yourself and turn off the absurd musings of Ingrid Newkirk.

  • Then why is there so much hidden camera footage on you youtube about circus animal abuse.....Nobody is going to believe you (maybe a moron will), no matter how lavish or sincere your comments are...we have out numbered you!

  • Blathering about conjured evidence and calling people out of their names doesn't make you right. All your supposed footage and yet Ringling Bros. rolls on for nearly 140 years. Sure buddy, you've really got them now:-)

  • u circus supporters are morons and i mean it! dont u people realize there are many more circus protesters than u think so ha! we out numbered u!

  • That may be correct, we might be out numbered........I love every other aspect of Circus performance......I just hate the Animal cruelty that goes along with it, and thanks for your opinion.

  • yea i remember going to the ringling circus and loved it

  • @ultramaniacrules33 protesters 1,500 maybe less circus people probably more than 30,000 circus fans who do not believe the peta hype 150+ million

  • Wow...PETA has you brainwashed. I have been to the circus thousands of times, I have watched them unload the animals from the train. Never once have I ever seen animals mistreated. And to add, I have several friends with Ringling and they have never seen the animals mistreated as well.

  • @Michael02143 there is not really any time when some amount of public is not around. even in the mid of night there are other people who work the arenas who are there . really your out of your league. your footage is from far beyond the range you describe, I can tell by the film stock , people involved, headresses on animals etc.people are not stupid enough to believe your lies sir.

  • @Michael02143 really let's have some names?? no such thing as a circus without animals by definition. read about circus history.

  • And then in the next edition (Zing, Zang Zoom) of red, after the Belloabration Tour, Bello will not be returning....

  • im goiing there to day in cleveland ohio 10-1-08

  • Protest Ringling Bros in Pittsburgh Saturday, November 1st at 5:30 PM at Mellon Arena, Mario Lemiux Place. Contact me for more details.

  • @XanimauxX thanks for annonucing your illegal activities ahead of time.

  • i would

  • I would never go to a circus to watch animals being treated as objects just for our entertainment.

  • I can't believe you! The animals enjoy it to you know. The dogs there were so happy wagging their tails.

  • Oh wow. EVERY animal? You hear how loud that music is? Do you even know how loud that is for dogs? It's more loud than what we humans hear. If you're going to be negative and complain, don't reply to me.

  • I know this sounds retarded but last year i was in one of those cars that travled around the stage. Retarded huh.

  • Oh, and as for factory farming, that's an entirely different form of animal abuse. I DO complain about that, and protest, and write letters, and NOT eat any of my fellow animals. Can you say as much? I doubt it. Then you can hardly criticize me for commenting on the circus's animal abuse.

Changing the subject will not change the fact that all circuses that use animals are outdated, greedy companies, and people who still go to them are either ignorant or close their minds to the suffering.

  • @journeyman47 greedy companies are owned by the families who travel around doing this work , it's all one huge extended (and geniological ) family almost everyone in the shows is related . matter of fact most of them are born into it . it's not a corporation like nbc or gm. it started with family and still is. you have no earthly idea of the things you speak of or how they really work.

  • Ringling Brothers Circus: Taking Animal Exploitation into the 21st Century!

  • Bah. It´s always interesting to watch animals in a circus. It´s just not the same without them. And there are regulations now, they have to treat them well. If there´s something anyone should complain about its the mass breeding and killing of animals everyday by the meat industry. You should complain about that instead.

  • Of course it's "interesting to watch animals". But is it ethical? Do you know about the horrible conditions they are kept in the other 23 hours a day just so you can see them perform silly, unnatural acts? Can you really close your mind to their suffering enough to enjoy their humiliation? Aren't human trapeze artists and clowns enough for you? Must you also demand that other species be torn from their mothers and live lives of misery, just for your momentary amusement? Think about it.

  • @journeyman47 wrong again.

  • As for regulations on animal treatment in circuses, they're the biggest joke of all. Ringling Brothers is the biggest violator of welfare regulations, and has gotten cited for everything from inadequate houseing, food and water to failing to provide care to sick elephants (they have had countless animals die of neglect, abuse, stress, and being torn from their mothers when too young.) Ringling doesn't give a shit about its animals, and just use them as commodities for profit. Regulations, huh?

  • @journeyman47 who is ringling then??

  • @journeyman47 do you even know what the word exploit means???

  • I saw this show live. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can't get the full experience until you see it live.

  • this was the best show i ever saw

  • that's why it's called the greatest show on earth.

  • I love Tyron Mcfarlon

  • cool i saw it today idk if it was me or the show...it didnt seem that entertaining i got bored after a few minutes eh mabe i get bored fast???

  • The ringling bros. is the coolest show, at the Nationwide arena!!''

  • this circus was bullshit

  • i love this show

  • bellobration! SAW IT TODAY

  • I CANT WAIT TO PROTEST AGAINT BARNUM & BAILEY CIRCUS THIS WEEK.

we dont want u in los angeles or anywhere for that matter!!

  • WHY THE FUCK DONT YOU

IM DOING A PLAY ON BARNUM AND BAILEY its wonderful

  • ok, first off, relax with ur cussing.

second of all, i wouldnt have a problem with barnum & bailey or the ringling brothers if it wasnt for their abuse to animals. the people in it do some really nice stunts but leave the animals out of it. the animals abuse is what i protested and we got some great results.

  • well look every circus abuses animals get over it

  • Sadly, you are right; but i believe in change and progress not only for animals but for humans. hopelessly accepting this doesnt work with me. i think every creature on earth deserves to be respected.

  • this is true every animal should be treated with equal respect from the ant to the horse to the whale

  • i totally agree. all life should be respected. but since the circus abuses animals i cannot support it. it goes against what i believe.

  • @SaysWh0 because your life is so empty and you have nothing better to do than take your homosexual, vegetarian, democracy hating self down there because youru probably unemployed , and can't get along with real society.

  • If that's what passes for circus now in the US I hate to say but you're not doing it right... Wow!!! It was like watching a veterans parade... lots of colourful floats walking past but nothing all that impressive... Just goes to show that brand and quality aren't exclusive bedfellows.

  • This Circus is full of animal abusers. I hope those pathetic pieces of shit burn in hell one day.

  • yea i seen this one also and when i went to vegas last weekend for the circus i didnt see or hear nothing about bello.

  • i am a carnnie and this is no place for an elephant! i shun barnum and bayly for this act against the circus and the name of jugglers, carnees, and anyone else involved in the long hours of blood sweat and tears (literately)make an audience wowed, amazed by the skills, from the time spent on one show. several months of torchor does not make an elephant ready for a live show, and were wore the actual 3 rings, or the ring master.brothers and carnees ban barnum and bayly, all hail cirque du soleile

  • Yuo shouldnt shun all barnum and bailey family!

just the owners of the circus....

because i can tell you not our entire family is proud of what goes on.

From, A member of the Barnum family ♥

  • are you for real? this isnt entertainment! this is cruel! people think that holding animals captive is FUNNY! it not they should at least be in zoos where its a little better! they shouldnt be on tour and whipped and burned! this isnt funny!!

  • i take under the fact that you are part of the BBR and apologize for assuming all performers in BBR are just as bad as the circus. but, you are getting paid for doing your act, and do nothing to protest the bad acts. aren't you as bad as the owner for taking the money to keep your mouth shut (i bet your job could be at stake for doing that) just something to think about

  • @tazmon122 bad act's don't last long and are usually cut from the route. animals are an intrisic part of the circus history and experience.

  • If you say you're a carnie then you've never worked in any Circus you liar. I've seen people almost killed for saying that. carnies & circus people are 2 different animals. If you ever called me a carnie I would kick your teeth right down your throat.you would also know that Cirque du Soleil employs virtually no real circus acts, or vendors. they are all ex olympic athletes or street performers from Montreal Canada. You have officially exposed yourself as a non circus person. get bent

  • @tazmon122 wow can tell your not a carnie, circus people and carny's don't get along for one. cirque du soleile?? they don't even have people from circus familys working there it's all street performers and ex olympic athletes , they are about as much circus as I"m the queen of england (they do put on a nice show but it's not circus without animals)

  • These circuses support animal cruelty! Don't go!
