LOL: The kind of mother who has a murderous, psychopathic son who has already cold-bloodedly murdered her other son and who she KNOWS will reward her saving him by eventually offing her, her daughter and god knows who else.
Not only did the mom make the right decision, IMO, it really shouldn't have even taken her THAT long. This was a no-brainer.

Well, the movie basically has the good kind boy living with his cousin's family for 2 weeks. While he's there he discovers the other boy is bad. He does REALLY bad things, things that put other people in life threatening danger. But he does it like it's just a prank to him (but he knows what he's doing) Mark is pretty much scared of Henry and just wants to make sure no one gets hurt because everyone thinks Henry is a really good kid and Mark can't get anyone to believe him.
i think i've seen this. is this the one where at the end the mom is hanging on to both boys and she has to choose which one to let go of and which one to save and the crazy one who just tried to kill his mom is like i love you mommy and she lets her son go?
Fantastic Thriller! Macaulay Culkin's psychotic acting in this movie was totally brilliant. He's so talented actor. I don't understand why he isn't so popular nowdays. Elijah Wood is farrrr not so talented as Culkin but he is superstar now.
Culkin lost popularity first for playing the part of some real life murderer who was gay I think (it was a movie of a true story) and apparently THAT was the real point where people questioned Culkin's nature playing the main baddy (unlike this movie which is just fiction and needed someone lol)
Then Culkin started getting arrested for drugs and whatever lol
Elijah IS talented. You don't have to say he's not out of jealousy from what happened to Culkin. Wood is now Frodo from Lord of the Rings and Spyro the Dragon (best known roles)
Jealousy? I don't care about them both BUT Elijah wasn't good in LOTR as Frodo. The fact this movie was superpopular doesn't mean that he was great in it. Viggo Mortensen, Sean Austin were really good not Wood.
I don't mean direct jealousy I just mean that they can both be good.
And hey, you didn't like him as Frodo but millions of others did. The movie was popular for many reasons. Scenery, set, designs, graphics, all the actors (All of them were praised), the costumes, the physical work and risks the actors put themselves through (Basically dedication), story, intensity and it originating from the books and keeping as much relation to the books as possible.
The mom was upset about the rubber duck cause Richard (the baby) was drowned in the bathtub by Henry
